Overview
Located just a 2-minute drive from ski resorts like Kidoike and Kumanoyu Ski Resorts, Sachinoyu is cosy family-run accommodation surrounded by lush greenery. Numerous fireflies can be seen around the property in summer. Free Wi-Fi is provided in the public area. Each room comes with a flat-screen TV. An en suite bathroom is provided in some rooms. Sachinoyu features a private sports field that can be used for playing soccer or other sports. Guests can enjoy outdoor barbecue, or relax in a large public bath. It is a 30-minute drive from Yudanaka Train Station. A 1-hour express bus is available from Nagano Station to Hasuike or Hiratoko bus stop, and a free pick-up service is available from the bus stops. Local specialities using organic vegetables can be enjoyed at the dining room.

“Friendly hosts and a lovely dog! Amazing dinner!”
It’s very near Kumanoyu ski area, just a 3 min drive away. Breakfast and dinner was amazing! Highly recommend everyone to get half board as there are no restaurants in the area. You’ll not regret it :)

“Sachinoyu was fantastic and I highly recommend!”
Location was great, right in the middle of the different resorts. We did have a car which made Shiga very easy to navigate. Our room was beautiful and clean with tatami mats and futons. Plenty of space for our luggage and hanging clothes. The staff were a highlight, very kind and welcoming. It is a small family run business and they make you feel at home. I am allergic to fish and seafood so don’t normally eat set menus but the staff were so thorough and understanding of my allergy so I gave it a go and the food was great and safe! The other members of my group also loved their meals. So much food! They also have an onsen with natural hot springs close by. Overall, very happy with this stay and we are lucky to have stumbled across it. We will be coming back!

The staff were so welcoming and friendly which made the stay really lovely. The dinner was also really yummy. We are vegetarian and they easily accommodated this. It was really nice to have food cooked for us and not have to decide on where to go and what to eat.

“Clean and comfortable”
Our family room is big enough with toilet and sink. We put 2 layers of the tatami mattress. Shared bathroom is clean and hot. Japanese breakfast is good. If you dont like particular items, better get your favourite before reaching the hotel.

“Lovely atmosphere”
Such a lovely hotel with a great atmosphere and the staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. The Onsen was lovely at the end of a day's skiing. The food was traditional and delicious. They also hire ski gear, including clothes, goggles and helmet.
