Overview
Ryokan Biyunoyado offers public indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths and colorful Japanese Yukata robes for all guests. Guests can request relaxing massages or reserve private hot-spring baths for an extra cost. A free shuttle is available from Yudanaka Train Station, a 10-minute walk away. Biyunoyado was selected as one of Top 25 B&Bs and Inns in Japan by TripAdvisor's Travelers' Choice Award 2013. Free Wi-Fi is available property-wide, and guests can enjoy a Japanese drum show at the lobby area. Karaoke rooms and a souvenir shop are available as well. Japanese-style rooms with tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding, or rooms with Western beds are available. Each includes a flat-screen TV, a fridge, an electric kettle and a safety deposit box. Traditional multi-course meals and a personal Nakai-san attendant service are available for guests with a halfboard meal plan. Meals are served at the dining room. Biyunoyado Ryokan is a 5-minute walk from Heiwa Kannon and a 25-minute drive from Shiga Kogen Sunvalley Ski Resort. A free shuttle is available to Snow Monkey Park, which is a 15-minute drive away.

“Good value Japanese style inn”
Good breakfast, and very nice Japanese dinner. We stayed in a Japanese room - if you want more comfortable mattress, choose a western style room. Room was well equipped, with a good shower. The staff are lovely, and very welcoming.

The most amazing ryokan experience we had! Great stuff always willing to help, amazing breakfast and dinner (we asked no seafood and still got amazing food), and the Onsen is available to everyone incliding people with tattoes! Also, the shuttle to the monkey park is very nice. Highly recommend!

The room is spacious and comfortable, clean.The meal was great a lot of variety..family enjoy it so much. The reception are so patient with many questions from my end. They even arranged shuttle to snow monkey and station ..very flexible.

“A place to calm down”
