“Excellent hotel!”

The hotel and our room feel new and clean! Room is big and comfortable. We had the mountain view which is nice! At first we were given a view of a roof top which was awful! So we asked the staff if they could change a room with a nice view since the hotel is now not quite occupied and the staff was kind enough to change for us, which was a great relief! We enjoyed the room with a nice view! Staff service is exceeding from front desk to restaurant! Breakfast and dinner food quality was excellent too! The onsen is great, very clean and peaceful with both indoor and outdoor onsens. There are also 2 free private onsens which is great! We love everything here!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Club Wyndham Shirakabaso and would highly recommend it. A special thank you to the manager, Matsuda-san, who truly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. His kindness and care did not go unnoticed, especially towards my husband who had suffered a whiplash injury from snowboarding. His attentiveness made a big difference to our experience. The receptionist team was also fantastic - warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful, even when I called ahead of our trip to make changes to our booking. Their professionalism and willingness to assist made everything seamless from the start. The food was another highlight. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, with great variety and quality. We also really enjoyed the onsen facilities, as well as the pizza bar and whisky bar which is perfect for unwinding after a day on the slopes. The hotel itself is in an ideal location, just a short walk from the bus station, making it easy to get around, and also very close to the gondola. The property has been recently renovated, and everything felt clean, modern, and well-maintained. One standout feature was the ski locker room—easily one of the best we’ve seen, with excellent facilities including space and equipment to wax your snowboard and skis. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. We will definitely be back!

The location was fantastic — right next to the bus station, which made getting around very convenient. The daily meals were excellent, with a great rotation and wide selection of dishes each day. Both the public and private onsen were wonderful and very well maintained. The two complimentary massage chairs were a real treat after a long day on the ski slopes. The staff were attentive, friendly, and provided excellent service throughout our stay. Having in-house ski rentals and a coin laundry was extremely convenient. A special mention to Mr Miyagi from the ski rental shop — he was outstanding and incredibly helpful. Our room was very spacious and comfortably accommodated two adults and two large suitcases without feeling cramped. Seems to be recently renovated with a great touch.

“Everything you need for a perfect skiing holiday and more”

Japanese style room was clean, functional and spacious. Location very practical with nearby bus stop and skiing in/out. Nice hot springs (also outdoors) and sauna. Basement ski rental has good quality equipment and service. Breakfast and Dinner buffet with wide selection of fresh food for every taste. Staff, and their level of service was just amazing at every encounter!

Spa is great, staff is exceptionally nice, coffee area is super! Food was very good (but could be a bit hotter or maybe served fresh from the grill instead of the heaters). Beautiful rooms, massive comfortable beds!

The food wasn't bad but the quality could be improved

The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. When my boyfriend accidentally left his wallet on the bus, the hotel staff personally walked to the nearest bus station to retrieve it for us, which we were deeply grateful for. Their sincerity and service were truly the highlight of our stay.
