“Love this hotel”

2nd time we have stayed here and everytime weve loved it !! Staff are lovely, food is great rooms are dated but clean. Location is great.

I stayed only for 1 night and for 1 night it was amazing. I had a typical Japanese styled room with a private Onsen. It gave me a change to try it out in my own time. They also provide a shuttle service to and from the trainstation and to and from the Snow Monkey Park in the morning. Even though you have to look at the clock, I do think you have enough time there.

“Delightful Ryoken hotel with private onsen and amazing food”

Fantastic Ryoken hotel that far exceeded our expectations. We were greeted by a warm welcome and given a tour of the hotel. The room was enormous and nicely laid out and the star was our own private onsen that was a wonderful treat. The hotel had a communal onsen as well which was a good size including an open air bath with a beautiful garden. The dinner was absolutely incredible, so many delightful dishes beautifully presented and definitely a highlight of our stay. The buffet style breakfast had a good range of options and delicious food. The reception even arranged for us to be collected from the station and a free shuttle to the snow money park and back. I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough, the attention to detail, care and memories will stay with me forever.

“Great stay in Yamanouchi”

The onsen was amazing, indoor and out, the rooms were very comfy and clean, the breakfast and dinner were very good, and as i stayed two night they changed the meal so i wouldn't have the same thing twice meanwhile the people who had arrived for the first night had the meal i had the previous night, that small touch i wasn't expecting. They also gave me a free lift to the Monkey park car park and then they kindly gave me a lift to the station in morning i was leaving

“Exceptionnal”

Beautiful and comfortable Ryukan. Very Spacious. Dinner was stunning with so many different japanese food brought to the room. Breakfast was very good too. Loved the onsen at night.

We loved the hot spring bath.

“A great traditional place to stay, for visiting the snow monkey park.”

It was a great location for visiting the snow monkey Park. The staff were very helpful and really friendly. And a shuttle bus service was great to and from the train station and monkey Park. We had bed breakfast and an evening meal and absolutely loved the traditional evening meal. We also used the free onsen on site, which was great.

Our second time at this ryokan. The van comes pick up at the train station. Later, they even drive us to find a good place to have dinner.

The staff were really accommodating and friendly. The buffet breakfast and dinner were excellent. The location and price were great, everyone at the hotel and even locals and people in the area were so friendly. This was our favourite place we visited on our Japan trip.

Very friendly staff. Offered pick up service from and to the station and to the snow monkey park any time we would like. Accomodation is clean, futons were good and lovely in- and outdoor onsen. Would highly recommend this place. Breakfast is mainly Japanese. There were a few western options too.

The stay was amazing. Staff was very helpful, explained everything in English, and the hotel’s driver even took us from the train station and to the snow monkeys park. The room with the private onsen was one of the best experiences we had in Japan. I definitely recommend staying at this place.
