“Brilliant stay in the most beautiful town”

We had a wonderful stay here for our honeymood - the room was just incredible. The inclusive dinner and breakfast with our booking were also fantastic. The traditional japanese dinner was lovely and we really appreciated the truly vegetarian alternative menu that wasn't full of mushrooms! It was also very thoughtful to have the owner of the hotel and come say hello to us during our dinner experience. We would love to have stayed longer and would highly recommend - the venue, staff, location and food were all 10/10!

Everything! The Staff are amazing. The Hotel is beautiful with great facilities. Hotel bedroom was immaculate and enormous, with large windows allowing for spectacular views. Bed was so comfortable. The evening meal was made into such a special occasion with all the beautiful dishes (I'm a fussy eater too!). The location was great, especially for visiting the Snow Monkey Park. A short walk from the train and bus station. We enjoyed the private onsen with beautiful views over the countryside. I think it will be one of the Hotels that will always stay in my memories. Such a wonderful experience and stay!

The private balcony onsen was amazing, the hotel onsen was quiet, we barely saw other people, and it was easy to get to the snow monkeys. I highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful accommodation and private onsen in the room. The room was huge and the beds were very comfortable. The food plan was also delicious and the staff were very attentive and helpful. Would stay here again.

This place exceeded our expectations. We were welcomed by lovely staff who helped us settle in. The rooms were clean and tidy and views were unbelievable, making this stay our favourite. The rooms are a little outdated but the service and experience there made up for that. We enjoyed a private and public onsen and rooftop bar snow dome. Everything was just lovely.

Great experience overall, Ryokan experience with comforts of hotel. Large comfortable room and bed. Loved Kaiseki dinner and in room private hot spring bath in the balcony with views and snowfall outside.

My partner and I loved everything about our stay from the moment we walked in! Staff were lovely and welcoming- the whole time The whole experience was unreal, room was gorgeous- loved our own private Onsen. Was like a winter wonderland! We will definitely be back- was magical ✨ thank you 🥰
