“Incredible view and fantastic location!”
The hotel had an incredible view—it was breathtaking to see the city of Yamagata covered in a layer of snow. One of the best things about the hotel is that it’s directly connected to the train station, which made traveling super convenient. From the station, buses go directly to Zao Onsen, but be cautious—seats are limited and on a first-come, first-served basis. If you don’t get your ticket in time and don’t line up early, you might not be able to board. The room itself was nothing special, a bit old, but everything worked fine, and we still had a comfortable stay. The real highlight was the staff, who were incredibly helpful, even during a medical emergency. Despite the language barrier, they did their best to assist us, which we truly appreciated. Another great convenience was the Family Mart on the ground floor of the building, making it easy to grab anything we needed. Overall, a good stay with a stunning view, excellent service, and a very convenient location!

“Great views of Yamagata, comfortable room and good location.”
Worth it alone for the stunning views of Yamagata and the surrounding valley and mountains. Also very conveniently placed for Yamagata station and the many izakayas and bars surrounding it. Once you've found the correct elevator to get up to the lobby, staff greet you friendly. Room was comfortable with, as mentioned, great view.

Great and comfortable place to stay in Yamagata ! It is located at Kajo Central 24F, 990-8580, Yamagata Has access to JR Yamagata Station , S-PAL Mall and Kajo Central. Has access to high rise view of Yamagata Central. There is a Parking fee.

Convenience store downstairs Staffs are very helpful Although they are not English speaking but they try their very best to explain with a mobile translator. Laundrette is all available on the 20th level and it has very good drying machine Room is small but it’s ok for 2 pax with minimum belongings
