Less than 2 minutes' walk from Yamagata Station, with one public onsen and a wide spread of dishes at the complimentary breakfast (menu changes every day). Even though the hotel was large, the rooms were quiet and I had a peaceful stay there. The giant 24-hour MaxValu supermarket right behind the hotel was a big bonus where you could grab discounted fresh food that is nearing their expiry time.

Nice hotel close to Yamagata Station. Rooms were nice and staff all very friend. Shout out to the parking attendant.. cool guy! :D Good location for travelling to Zao Onsen if you have a hire car. Rooftop onsen was very nice too!!!

The location is fantastic, directly opposite the train station, making it incredibly convenient for travelers. The breakfast selection is varied and delicious, catering to a range of tastes. Location is superb about 200 meters from Yamagata train station. The staff is so friendly and very helpful as they helped to contact our rental car and informed that we were going to be late. They also help to keep our luggage. Not to forget free coins for can drinks. Recommended.

Convenient location as an overnight stay, to allow us to visit Risshakuji Temple at Yamadera early next morning. We wanted to be close to the station for easy access to the trains, which this provided. Typical of most hotels in Japan, it was compact, with some novel solutions to provide more space, such as the pull out kettle shelf.
