The public bath, next to the cold plunge next to the spa was perfect , great b.fast and dinner options for $12- it's an old school biz hotel but at the price point it smashes a lot more fancy hotels offerings out of the park - Aussies will feel spoiled

“Good value hotel with large bath place for men”
Large bath place in 2nd floor was good. 10 minutes walk from Yamagata station. Little old but good value for money.

“Great service running a very welcoming, clean establishment”
Everything was of a very high quality for the price. The room was very cosy and had great air conditioning/heating, the bathroom was clean and had everything I needed, and there was even a lovely desk with a window view of the city. Travelling over I had a significant delay due to trains being cancelled as a result of a power outage, and the hotel staff were very understanding, allowing me to arrive slightly later than the original check-in time. I also had a late train on my check-out day and they let me leave my bag at the hotel for a few hours in a secure area, which was very kind.

A short walk from Yamagata station, I had a comfortable stay. Staff is very kind and helpful, 英語お上手. Basic amenities provided, aircon works well. Wifi is fast which is nice for telework.

Comfy beds, nice staff, could leave my luggage before check-in and aftrt check-out, was real close to the station and everything you could need! Laundry room without the risk of anybody snagging your clothes. Loved it!
