Avoid unless you like doubling your final hotel bill Avoid unless you like doubling your final hotel bill on absurdly expensive food prices: EUR 17 for Fries, Caesar Salad EUR 27, Fruit Platter EUR 28. I have been to Bodrum before and really appreciate the well-priced food. However, this is not the case at the Bodrum Kempinski. Management tried to explain to me it was because of inflation and supplier costs. This does not make sense, as I did some benchmarking of hotels in the area and of Kempinski globally. For example, 2 other Bodrum Hotels which are considered High-End Luxury have more realistic prices: - Lujo- Caesar Salad EUR 20, Fries EUR 8 - Bodrum Edition- Caesar Salad EUR 16.98, Fries EUR 10.73 At best, their suppliers are taking advantage of them. At worst, this is a deliberate attempt to gouge guests who are unable to leave the hotel easily, seriously theres no restaurants around the hotel— which, frankly, feels exploitative. “Beautiful paradise stay”
Fantastic stay - truly a beautiful paradise in Bodrum. The hotel room was very nice with a great view over the ocean and of the flowers. Staff organised a lovely surprise birthday cake and the room was decorated with the loveliest balloons. Very nature oriented with a lot of pathways by the beach, to the port etc, which are stunning. Lovely pool area as well. The staff is really what makes the hotel so fantastic, a big shout out to Fevzi who made sure we were treated exceptionally well and really went above and beyond to make sure our stay was the best possible, a really kind and well educated member of the hotel team who made the stay perfect. Had lovely conversations with him. Also a thank you to Melvut who kept us updated with the great hotel activities such as water sport and offered us some cute souvenirs from the hotel. Really we left with a big smile and understood that we would be back again for a longer trip - also the breakfast staff were lovely, in a particular a girl I met who always asked me how I was doing, with a big smile, and the cleaning staff who kept our rooms so fresh and also in the spa they were lovely and very helpful. Perfect hotel perfect manager and perfect staff. Restaurant was really good in breakfast and meals, rooms was clean the house keepers comes to clean twice a day really good 👍 and will go back in summer.
