“Amazing, felt like kings staying here”

We loved our stay here! My husband and I are on our honeymoon and booked this property so we were able to do the yala national park safari and we booked this place with another couple. We had the place to ourselves, the manager and staff were amazing, they cooked us a traditional Sri Lankan dinner for our last dinner and it was the best, so fresh and delicious woud highly recommend doing it! The rooms were so clean & the aircon worked a treat as Sri Lanka is very warm and humid! The pool was quite nice too ! Would highly recommend staying here, the best value for money !! Felt like the staff were our friends and the manager he was amazing !!!

“Great place & great location.”

Such a gem of a place, stayed here for 2 nights with family. Great location for Yale national park. Only has 3 rooms so it’s really like being in a private villa. The rooms are so large, with queen size beds & a bath & shower. The manager is so kind & nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is a selection of Sri Lankan food, lunch & dinner is a wider selection. Had a fab lunch of club sandwiches & the Sri Lankan curry is a must, so much food for one person. Dinner was made special by setting a table up outside by the pool, recommend the grilled fish with mashed potatoes. All the staff are so smiley & friendly. They took us by tuktuk to a local restaurant & picked us up. Best stay in Yale, you won’t be disappointed.

“A quiet relaxing spot to unwind after travelling around Sri Lanka.”

A rural property surrounded by nature. Ideal for visiting Yala National Park which is 20 mins away. We had dinner outside by the swimming pool. The owner made us feel welcome and was helpful when booking another flight back to UK to avoid conflict in Middle East. Close to the beach. A small hotel.

“Private & Relaxing stay”

We had a wonderful stay! It felt very private, as there are only three rooms, which made the experience even more special and peaceful. The staff were fantastic, extremely friendly and attentive to our needs. They even prepared breakfast for us to take along on our safari trip, which was such a thoughtful touch. Highly recommended!

Very peaceful and tucked away. Room was lovely and bed comfy. Friendly staff. Excellent dinner. Provided with a takeaway breakfast for our safari and they kindly looked after our luggage for the day.

The atmosphere of the home. It was like living in a tree house but with luxary. Our host fixed all our needs.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our stay at Rock Wild Yala was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely cared for. A special mention to the manager Mr. MRL Niroshan, who went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. He took special care of us throughout our visit and was reachable 24/7 for anything we needed — truly outstanding hospitality. The breakfast and lunch were absolutely delicious, freshly prepared and full of flavor. The room was spotless, beautifully maintained, and extremely comfortable. Waking up to the breathtaking jungle views was a magical experience — being surrounded by nature in such a peaceful setting made the stay even more special. The location is perfect — only 20 minutes from Yala National Park, making it ideal for safari lovers, and just 5 minutes from the beach. Transportation was never an issue, as the staff arranged tuk-tuks whenever needed. Even after check-out, Mr. Niroshan kindly allowed us to keep our suitcases safely in the lobby until our safari was over, which made our plans completely stress-free. This place is a true hidden gem, and we highly recommend it. We would definitely love to return!

We stayed here for two days during our 10-day trip around the southern part of Sri Lanka as a family of five, including our children aged 2, 4, and 6. The staff were extremely kind and even played with our children, which made our stay very comfortable and relaxing. It felt just like having our own private bungalow. We really enjoyed the pool with the kids, and the food was delicious. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay!

The property was absolutely beautiful. A large room overlooking beautiful greenery. A very quiet place to relax and the service from the staff was one of the best I have ever had. They go above and beyond and nothing was a trouble for them. They even went as far as to organise a cake and balloons for my friends birthday and a special dinner. Couldn’t reccomend them more

Enjoyed our short stay at rock wild . Spent 2 days here whilst doing the safari. Great hotel with very nice and helpful staff. Great location if you are doing the safari. Close to the beach and bars and also a short journey by scooter into tissa if you want to go there but also want to stay on the outskirts within the surrounding nature

“Amazing people and amazing hotel!”

Everything! Beautiful oasis in the middle of the jungle. Staff is extremely kind, and it’s a great place to wind down and relax away from the noise. Rooms are also clean with spacious washrooms.

The rooms were big and beautiful with a great view of the trees, the pool was lovely and relaxing! The safari was amazing that we booked through the hotel.

“Peaceful and beautiful”

I love this hotel. Starting with the staff, the hotel manager was so nice and caring, as well the young boy who works there. Very helpful, with such a nice smile. This hotel is so peaceful, after the rush of the other cities, this hotel was needed. We ordered at the restaurant for diner and the food was so good. And the breakfast the next day was nice, with so many fruits. We were very lucky to see a peacock with its tail all open the next morning in the garden next to it. The room was very spacious and clean.
