Everything was amazing! Location of resort is very close to the national park. The owners arranged us safari even. The resort is very quite and peacefull and everything was clean. Dinner was very good. We enjoy our stay very much. Also the owner and the boy was very kind, friendly and helpful. Thank you for everything!

The manager’s behaviour was disappointing. He argued over the booking and also lied about dinner and charged extra. Very unprofessional

“Thambapani vibes”

A real gem, perfectly quiet and calm. Compared to the trendy packed beaches from Bentotal all the way to Tangalle, this spot is like time travel, the coast wild and empty. Friendly and helpful host and staff are keeping the place very clean and well. The large chill beds on the verandah make up for the small but practical room.

Host received us very well and was in constant touch before arrival. And also arranged for safari. It is a quiet place with limited rooms. Overall, great experience.

Beautiful scenery with lots of animals and a calming environment with the crashing sounds of the seas. The food was excellent and the hosts were very friendly and attentive.

The most beautiful and peaceful place! The beach is just wow. The owner is super kind, he organised a great morning safari for us - one of our best experiences in Srilanka. His wife is a great cook. If you get the chance, book it.

Very friendly owner who arranged us private safari tour. We enjoyed our local breakfast. Rooms and bathrooms were clean. It's possible to have nice and long walks in the beach. Sleeping and waking up with ocean wave sound was amazing. Highly recommended for short stay for safari.

Hansa made us feel extremely welcome! Him and his wife Sa made us a wonderful evening meal after our safari! Which we enjoyed in the company of their resident cow (Lucy) and their dog (Ollie)! Hansa was able to book us on our own private safari for a very good price where we were lucky enough to see Leopards, Elephants and much more! I would 100% recommend staying here! We loved our stay!

Our stay at Nil Sisila was fantastic. I’m both gluten free and have a nut allergy so it’s hard to travel and stay safe, but they made breakfast, lunch and dinner for me with an incredible variety of home cooked food. I felt truly looked after. The hotel is a haven, the beaches are totally untouched and they organised our safari for us, we didn’t have to do anything! Would (hopefully will!) stay again, could stay forever 10/10.

We had the best time. We were 3 girls. Felt extremely safe. Right next to the beach. Beach was clean and empty and pristine. Would recommend to definitely come for the food as well. Hosts make the best lunches and dinners

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was perfectly clean, and the hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. The location is ideal, and our host took great care of planning everything for our safari, which was a truly exceptional experience. We especially appreciated how warmly animals are treated. The food was excellent and truly delicious. We would highly recommend this place and would gladly return.

“Great place to stay!”

Stunning location and great friendly hosts. Location is right on the beach with a beautiful outlook to a garden full of wildlife that you can lay back on comfy outdoor beds and observe. Super friendly pet dogs too. We had a delicious home cooked dinner made for us. The offer of breakfast was declined, but what other guests were eating looked amazing. Room was as described, very comfortable bed, with a mosquito net provided and good aircon to keep the temperature comfortable. Would recommend this property to others and stay here again.

Thank you so much for our wonderful weekend. We stayed here for two nights and I can definitely say it was the best time in Sri Lanka. The incredibly beautiful ocean views and tranquility are the highlight of this place. I'd especially like to thank the owner of the cottage; he and his wife are very kind and hospitable. They always pay attention to detail, the rooms are very clean and cozy, and the food is delicious. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Sri Lanka.

This was a peaceful and welcoming retreat. The host was superb - helpful, informative and attentive to detail. The outlook on nature with the birds, the nearby sea and dunes, and the wildlife from the national park were excellent. The food was tasty and it was enjoyable dining with other guests. A visit to the bats in Tissa was an unexpected bonus too. The day beds outside were very comfortable.

Hansa and his wife Sa are the sweetest couple and very helpful and accommodating. The place has nice ocean view and the lunch they prepared for us was super delicious! They also helped us with bookings of taxis and safari.
