“Every single thing was perfect from start to finish.”

Upon arriving, I was greeted by a small troop of black faced langurs before being welcome in by Dilan who instantly made me feel at home and made sure that I could ask him anything about the resort during my stay. His energy and warmness is exactly the textbook definition of good customer service. As I had arrived before check in, I was invited to have breakfast and not only enjoyed the buffet or Sri Lankan and international delicacies but also had eggs prepared before being encouraged to order another dish - which I did. Yasith deserves an extremely special recognition for his attention to detail and for guiding me through the menu for breakfast. He was so kind to provide me a tea tasting which was a truly unforgettable experience. What a legend. The staff really make you feel seen, valued, and cared for. I had told Bhasu that I had to wake up for an online job interview early one morning and not only did he invite me to use the conference room’s facilities (which I didn’t take up) but he followed up and worked with the team to arrange a little cake to congratulate me on a job I hadn’t even obtained yet. This is a staff cohort that unashamedly goes above and beyond for its customers. The expansive pool at Hilton Yala is undeniably a slice of heaven. You could easily spend the rest of your days sitting by the waters edge being taken care of by Indika and the other pool staff. The sunset beach walk led by Rimesha was another unforgettable experience. I leaned so much about tracking and conservation management which had me amped to explore Yala National Park with Banuka. Similarly, his knowledge of local wildfire and ability to ensure our safari jeep was not stuck at the back of a line up looking for leopards is seriously impressive. The price tag for booking your safari through Hilton is worth every penny. The Deluxe King Room is spacious, has incredibly comfortable bedding, a huge bathroom, and a balcony with a spa!

Every meal—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—was a true delight, with remarkable quality, variety, and presentation. One of the absolute highlights of our stay was the incredible safari experience. A special thank you goes to our ranger Bhanuka and driver Tharanga, whose expertise and passion made the adventure truly unforgettable. Another magical moment was the guided beach walk with a ranger, where we were fortunate enough to spot an elephant—an experience we will cherish forever. We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to the wonderful team members who made our stay so seamless and enjoyable: Asela and Nuwan, the always friendly golf cart drivers; Sachin from housekeeping, who took such great care of our room with genuine dedication; and everyone else who contributed to this exceptional experience. “I wish I never had to leave! Incredible stay”

Everything! I’ve never stayed anywhere that beats this place. The cleanliness, the staff, the food… everything was incredible. The atsff were all very attentive, chatty and filled out every need. The main pool is absolutely huge! We booked the suite which included our own pool which was well kept, clean and comfortable to use. The room… wow. Beautiful ! We had multiple spa treatments throughout our stay, each one was 5 star.

“A lovely, relaxing stay”

My partner and I had such a lovely, relaxing stay at the Hilton Yala Resort. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, the food was amazing, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They also offer a really convenient WhatsApp service, so you can message them at any time if you need anything. There’s plenty of nature within the grounds - we saw monkeys, monitor lizards and lots of beautiful birds, which I loved. The only slight downside (and I haven’t knocked off any stars for this as it was my own fault for not researching properly) is that you can’t freely roam outside the hotel grounds or go to the beach. As a nature lover, I found that a little disappointing. However, I completely understand the reasoning - it’s for safety, especially with larger wild animals like elephants in the area. That being said, if you’re planning a safari in Yala National Park, the location couldn't be more convenient. If you’re after comfort, incredible food, wonderful staff and a hotel right by Yala National Park, I’d definitely recommend the Hilton 🥰

“Blissful stay in the midst of nature and wildlife”

Stunning modern property which camouflages itself beautifully within its jungle-beach location. All staff we came across throughout the property are so friendly and accommodating. Special mention goes to Pavani who was always so charming and helpful. Thanks also to executive Chef Jerome who created the most tastiest of vegetarian menus for us - the food was incredible!! The main pool is gorgeous - we revelled in watching nature around us whilst swimming...Our bedroom suite was so generous in size and super comfortable, very well thought out space and design and amazing bathroom:)...all enhanced with large ceiling to floor windows looking out into lush greenery. the wild, secluded & dramatic beach is stunning! all round amazing stay:) Would definitely return!

Everything! The staff are beyond kind and helpful. The food is of a very high standard. The property itself is absolutely stunning and the rooms are gorgeous. We went on both a morning and evening safari during our stay and both were tremendous with a very knowledgeable ranger and driver to navigate you through the park and not only provide sitings of with wildlife but also educate you on the area and animals and birds. Someone has reviewed on line and said that it is possibly the best Hilton in the world. I find it hard to imagine any other Hilton could beat it!

The ground and rooms are immaculate, it really is a stunning hotel and it’s kept exceptionally clean. All staff are lovely, and really helpful.

This place is amazing. Like no Hilton I have ever experienced before. Rooms are possibly the best I have ever stayed in and the quality of the whole property is absolutely first class. Staff can not do enough for you, big thanks to Chanaka who looked after us at the restaurant. The the gym and spa are also first rate rate and we enjoyed a fantastic massage from Riska. Couple all of this with the safari and you have a truly memorable experience that I would highly recommend to anyone.

12/10 Awesome hotel from the moment you arrive the cold towels, the team were amazing. Our safari was included and we had a ranger Saranga JR and driver, Delip. I noticed others did not gave a ranger who would spot out the animals for us. We hit the Big 3 (elephants, leopard and bear) which the locals were also excited about. Inclusive package was great, food was perfect thank you Executive chef Jerome and team. The service team that I acknowledged in my tripadvisor review were amazing. So well trained. The room service team were so lovely and rooms on point. Was worth the trip and price at the Hilton.

Just spent a few days at the Hilton Yala and honestly, it’s a bit of a gem. The location is unreal — right in the middle of Yala National Park, so you feel properly tucked away, but still surrounded by all the comforts you’d want. The hotel is new, super modern, but still has that classic, natural look that fits the area perfectly. The food was great, the pool was fantastic, and the whole place just feels like a little hideaway. You’re literally sitting there and suddenly you spot wildlife moving around nearby — it’s a pretty special experience. If you’re heading to Yala and want something chilled, comfortable, and unique, this place is worth it.
