“Incredible stay at Cinnamon Wild Yala”

We had an incredible stay a Cinnamon Wild Yala. The place really was everything we had hoped for. Surrounded by nature we saw crocodiles in the lagoon and the rooftop bar was very much dominated by monkeys. The rooms are lovely with really comfortable pillows. Food was delicious and service through was incredible. We did the safari through the hotel too and were lucky into to see a leopard in the first 5 minutes! Really well organised and knowledgable guide. We would highly recommend.

It was a very pleasant stay. With in front of the hotel Safari experience. We could see many crocodiles, buffalos,eagles, and one jackal. The staff was very kind and helped us with anything. The beachside and the pool were very beautiful. The food was most time buffet and wow so many dishes , it was delicious.

Loved the location and proximity to Yala National Park , its views of the lake , great food and breakfast buffet spread and their hospitality. Thank you Ms Jayani and Mr Pradeep for welcoming us and taking care of us and all our requirements. Moreover it was my wife’s 35th birthday which was made very special by them by the room decoration and cake. In fact special mention to the restaurant staff which made it even more special by singing the birthday song and surprising her. Really appreciate it. Lastly in the morning the chef also took our special request for breakfast and we loved the food. Thank you to the entire team , we loved the stay!! Keep it up guys !!

Fantastic hotel. Beautiful luxury cottages in the middle of nature. Professional staff. We did a half-afternoon safari after arrival and a full-day safari the next day. Arranged by the hotel. Saw a lot of animals, including a bear, many elephants, and six leopards!! Very large and nice swimming pool. We really enjoyed ourselves to the fullest here. The food is also of a high standard.

Everything! This place is fantastic! From the room on stilts to the elephant roaming the hotel and the safari. I couldn’t rate it highly enough!

“Must stay for Yala”

One of our highlights from Sri Lanka. If you want to stay amongst the nature and close to the park with a near enough 5 star experience, this fits the bill. The staff were great with the check in process and very helpful throughout our stay. Especially with a tour around the property to see the crocodiles at night. We stayed by the beach near the perimeter which was a surreal experience seeing the monkeys and hearing the noises at night. Also right near the beach you can walk just with the guards acknowledgment. The buffet experience is a must, they really go to new heights with the variety of foods they put on. We loved it. Also the cocktails are reasonably priced with the poolside service and rooftop bar at night. We booked the safari through the hotel which was much easier and saved hassle. I wouldn't hesitate to come back here and this gave us both some fond memories.

The resort itself is absolutely outstanding, the surrounding setting is beautiful. The room was precious, and we really liked walking in the beautiful beach.

“Perfect stay”

Beautiful rooms, stylish, spacious and comfortable. The pool area is great, you can even see the monkeys jump overhead if they are in the area. The area is beautiful, jungle forest, beach area and a lake all with wildlife at your doorstep. The breakfast, lunch and dinner at both restaurants is perfect quality! What really makes the experience one of the best we had are all the friendly people, they always want to help to arrange safaris, make you a nice cappuccino, help you with your plans or just make friendly conversation. Thank you so much for making this an unforgettable memory!

You are in the middle of a forest. So it is a luxury experience, while being very close to wildlife. The property is beautiful, proximity to beach and lake make it even more endearing. There will be peacocks taking strolls by your side. The staff is great and accommodated our requests well.

We had an incredible stay at Cinnamon Wild Yala. The location is unbeatable right on the edge of Yala National Park, which made it feel like a true safari experience even when relaxing at the hotel. We regularly saw wildlife around the property, including monkeys, etc. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well integrated into the natural surroundings. The pool area was lovely and a great place to unwind after an early morning safari. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout, and the food offered a good variety with both local and international options.

The location is great, staff were very focussed on our safety, especially the rangers at night. The dinner buffet was surprisingly good. The squirrels and monkeys were lovely and the setting is beautiful.

The room was really clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We saw many animals from the hotel which was an unforgettable experience. Really close to the safari. Will definitely visit again!
