Wonderful host, location, amenities

Being from Europe, I liked the traditional Japanese ryokan with tatami mats. The host was friendly and helpful. I found the futon comfortable.

The location was great and the room was nice. Easy to get to the ferry and some good local restaurants close by. Also right near the road that takes you to one of the islands famous hikes. The traditional Japanese futon bed was very comfortable

Has everything you need as a base for hiking on the island and mostly importantly: drying off afterwards! The hosts were very friendly communicative, despite me speaking no Japanese and the wife even drove me to the port so I didn‘t have to wait for the bus in the rain! Thank you so much! 🙏

Convenient location in Miyanoura close to a bus stop. Cozy rooms and clean shared facilities. A very kind and hospitable host. I had an amazing stay and would return anytime!

The property was located in a great area, close to port, shops , restaurants and bus stop just over the road. Every day our room was cleaned and tidied. Host was very accommodating and helpful. There is also free parking nearby.

Su~~~per great stay! The host never disturb you, but if you need help, you can find them. And the all the supplies are very enough, the towel, the kitchen, the shampoo etc.

It was very clean and beautiful house inside and outside. Fresh feeling. The host was kind and considerative. My room was cleaned every day!

Very friendly host, great location with the bus stop right in front of the guesthouse. The room was very comfy, plenty of space and hangers for clothing.

Conveniently located in front of a bus stop (which is a must if one doesn’t have a car), walking distance from Miyanoura port, close to restaurants, this accommodation was just what I needed for my stay in Yakushima. The owners are very kind and helpful, as well as attentive to their guests. I will definitely come back again if I have the opportunity.

Location was perfect walking distance from Miyanoura Port. Host was very friendly and knowledgeable - he even gave us a lift back to the port in the pouring rain and checked that our ferry was still running! Very cute and clean kitchen, shower and toilet. There are spare trekking poles, hiking boots and umbrellas you can borrow. Exceptionally good place!
