“Nice seaview cottage - natural environment”

The cottage is cozy and definitely a great fit for families or groups of friends. The pricing is also quite reasonable. I really loved the view and the surrounding atmosphere — you can hear crickets and roosters, which adds to the charm. Waking up to the sea view in the morning was peaceful, quiet, and truly serene.

Very nice and spacious garden house in Yukishima. Georgeous view over the sea, great but hidden and very hard hiking trail starting right behind the house. Public transport connection is ok with a bus running until 5 pm 10 minutes away from the building.

Everything! It's a lovely holiday chalet with lots of space and excellent facilities. We stayed here two nights but would have been happy to stay longer. You probably need a car if you stay. And you need to be prepared to be surrounded by the sounds of nature! I love frogs!! The owner was really friendly and gave lots of helpful advice.

Stranded in Yukushima as ferries and flights were cancelled. Found the nearest stay available from the airport. The owner was extremely hospitable. We didn't drive and he offered to drop us at an izakaya for dinner and pick us up later. Also waited for us when we had a stop over at the supermarket. He also lent us a phone charger. The room was nice and big, with 2 futons and a sofa futon. Very comfortable beddings. We slept well. Basic toiletries including toothbrush, hairdryer, etc. No breakfast but there is instant coffee with a microwave oven and toaster as well. Bathroom was right outside the room, super clean. Good views of the ocean.

I can't say enough good things about this accomodation. The owner is really, really lovely. I was, honestly, an accidentally terrible guest. We had agreed upon a pick up from my previous accomodation, and halfway back to this hosts accomodation, I realized I'd completely forgotten my laptop back at my last accomodation. I felt so horrible for asking him to turn around! He very kindly did, accepted my mistake with grace and calm, and made sure I got comfortably settled at the cabin once we arrived. I stayed at a much more expensive accomodation on the island earlier on in my stay and did not receive this kind of kindness and warm welcome. I would absolutely recommend this place as the best spot to stay on Yakushima from my experience so far. I will be recommending it to friends and colleagues.
