“A great place to discover Yakushima”

We stayed in this accommodation for two nights and had a wonderful time there. Our host was very helpful, with insights on what to do on the island and great restaurants recommendations. She also helped us book the restaurants and experience the Hirauchi onsen not far away while being respectful of japanese traditions. The room was comfortable, clean, spacious and with a lot of light. The breakfast prepared by our host was delicious. There is also a washing machine and a dryer available for a small fee which was very convenient. The location is great to discover the island, especially the south (a car is needed)

We have had a great stay in a lovely apartment on a beautiful island. The lovely owners of Ananda Chillage Yakushima were not just extremely kind but also helped us to solve a car rental issue. We loved it!

We had an excellent stay at Ananda Chillage. The place is charming, peaceful, and very pleasant. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well equipped. Breakfasts were delicious and entirely homemade. A big thank you to the hosts for their warm welcome, kindness, and availability. We highly recommend this place!

Miki was the most amazing host helping us with making booking reservations and reccomendations around the island. The breakfast she cooks is delicious!

Ananda Chillage went above and beyond our expectations. A warm host, beautiful location, interesting places to visit and good places to eat nearby. The room was exceptionally clean with high quality products. Tasteful decor and breakfast was superb.

The kind owner helped us with our car rental booking when our flight was cancelled due to bad weather . The breakfast prepared was wonderful. The rooms are well equipped and lots of library reference books to flip through about yakushima island

Wonderful location, gorgeous place to stay with a homely and friendly atmosphere. Lovely breakfast with fresh fruit, warm baked bread and fresh eggs from the chickens. Miki also organised bento for our long hike and helped with restaurant recommendations and bookings. We loved it here.

Beautifully designed guest house surrounded by nature and with stunning sea view. Very nice and helpful (!) hosts that helped us tremendously with going on two amazing hikes on Yakushima island. Superb breakfast with delicious fruits and other locally sourced ingredients

This accommodation is a bit far from the port so we had to rent a car to get there. The stay exceeded our expectations due to the pleasant hostess, the tasty breakfast and the luxuriously equipped room. The hostess also managed to provide us with a number of nice addresses, so in our opinion a great stay!
