Overview
The Casona de Yaiza can be found next to the Timanfaya National Park on Lanzarote. There is an outdoor swimming pool and all of the rooms have satellite TV. Each of the rooms in La Casona de Yaiza has a private bathroom. The furniture throughout the entire hotel has been designed specially and to create a harmonious whole The Yaiza Casona has large gardens and free Wi-Fi in public areas. There are also richly decorated lounges and a small art gallery. The Casona’s restaurant serves radical new versions of traditional Mediterranean and Canarian dishes. The hotel also offers car and bike rental. It can also arrange private boat trips. Papagayo Beach can be reached in less than 30 minutes’ drive.

“Nice hotel, remote from the masses, enjoyed our stay.”
Lovely breakfast. Very clean room. Great shower. Nice fairly private terrace. Always managed to park the hire-car in the street. Good location for touring the island, though some people may prefer to be nearer the beaches and civilisation!

Great location, quite but very close to the city centre. Exellent restaurant. Limited choice with the half pension but good quality of food and service. Decent breakfast. Unable to comment on the swimming pool due to the cold weather.

“If you like beauty, and nature, and food, you will love this place”
It was a fantastic place to base oneself as someone interested in walking and birdwatching. Also art. I loved the artwork everywhere but frustratingly couldn't find out the name of the artist (I'm sorry that when someone told me, I immediately forgot). I would love to have known more about the history of the place. I really hope I can get a chance to come back.
