Overview
Offering a garden and year-round outdoor pool, the property is located 18 km south of Playa del Carmen, 27 km from the famous Tulum archaeological site and at just 200 metres away from Xpu-Ha beach. The luxurious tented camp is surrounded by the native jungle and offer king and queen size beds, a colonial type desk, chair and large mirror. En suite bathrooms, toilet and separate shower plate are also included. Other facilities offered at the property include a destination expert desk, luggage storage and an array of activities that can be enjoyed in the surroundings, including snorkeling and diving. The property offers free parking. Playa del Carmen is only 20 minutes away and can be also reached via the shuttle service (extra fee).

Nice getaway from the city, you can feel a little bit jungle vibe. The staff were friendly and helpfull. A lot of reviews were about the noise, but we didn’t hear any cars or road noise.

Our family camped at Xpu-ha beach for 3 months in early 2003 and a couple of months ago we thought we would do a family reunion there. The glamping idea seemed appropriate and it turned out to be a fantastic experience! We had 3 king rooms, close to each other per our request, and each was clean and well-maintained, with daily cleaning service including full turndown and fresh amenities (and towel creatures!). The tents were spacious, well appointed and each had AC that worked well and each had a small fridge. Some reviewers commented on noise and there is slight ambient highway noise, but the Glamping staff provide earplugs (which we never needed) and aside from adjusting to the crickets, birds and coatimundi sounds it was not an issue. (We’ve done all-inclusives and thoroughly enjoyed the tranquility of THIS location!) We did not eat dinner at the Serenity Restaurant so can’t comment, but despite negative reviews the restaurant breakfast was actually not bad, costing about 150 pesos for a reasonable breakfast and 70 pesos for coffee (but free refills!). Xpu-ha is a spectacular beach that's about a 5 min walk from reception. The walk is shaded and pleasant. Once on the beach you will be treated to beautiful white sand, gentle surf, and a vibrant coral reef. The Serenity Beach Club is for the Glampers and we never had an issue getting 3x plush loungers for our group of 5, no matter what time of day. The club restaurant is a little pricy but not exorbitant. I cannot say enough about the staff, specifically, Alejandra and Victor but generally all - lovely people who were happy to chat, provide expert advice about the local area, and in general ensure our trip was the best it could be. My overall impression is it was a fantastic vacation and I would return to this resort in a heartbeat. The beach is unparalleled, the rooms are adorable and the staff are lovely. The location is remote while also being within 20 minutes of vibrant central tourism locations.

Nice, clean and large rooms with AC, pool is great, beach is 3 minutes walk, very helpful staff. Trafic is a bit loud sometimes, but they give earplugs. Overall, it is a nice place to go.

This place is exceptional and only short walk to private beach. I can't believe how relaxed this place made us feel so much so we stayed extra night. Only short taxi ride to amazing beach for snorkeling and diving.

The hotel is beautiful, they have nicely decorated garden, restaurant, parking. Every tent has it’s own terrace. Very quiet and lovely. Beds in our Lodge were wide and comfortable. Every room has air conditioning. Breakfast was lovely.
