Hotel San Andrea is situated on the seaside promenade of the Xlendi Bay, just 5 metres from the clear Mediterranean Sea. It offers a genuine restaurant. All rooms are compact and air-conditioned, each with its private bathroom with bath and shower. Some rooms offer views of the sea. The restaurant serves Mediterranean specialities for lunch and dinner, and the dining room extends onto the waterfront. Breakfast includes yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, bread, pastries, and fruit. Set amongst the cliffs of the Xlendi Valley, the San Andrea is a modern boutique hotel in Gozo, the second island of the Maltese archipelago. The hotel can arrange taxi and helicopter transfers from the airport. Trekking paths start from nearby, and there is a bus stop 20 metres away. Parking is free.

We love the hotel its our 4 or 5 stay. Location and staff are great and dinner was always very good. Easy parking at the back of the hotel and easy commute to anywhere on the island

“Excellent location, clean and comfortable rooms, very satisfying breakfasts.”
The location is perfect - right on the waterfront and very easy to find! There are many restaurants less than a minute away and just over the road is a mini-market and a dive centre too. There's a slightly larger supermarket very close too. The room was great - blackout curtains, a balcony, kettle with tea/coffee, and a bathroom with a bath tub and shower, plus effective air conditioning. Everything was clean and tidy. The staff were brilliant - I ended up arriving 3 hours before check in and was allowed to use the roof terrace and the shared lounge on the top floor until my room was ready - when it was a staff member came up to find me to give me my room key. Breakfast was your standard buffet, but still very good and well done - tea, coffee, fruit juices, bread with cheeses and sliced meat, pastries, fresh fruit, yoghurt, plus bacon, sausages, eggs, hash browns, tomatoes, and cakes. The hotel also has it's own restaurant on the ground floor - Zafiro - which has outdoor seating with great views of the water and really good food - I had the rabbit stew with fries and veg in the evening.

View, but I booked it with genious booking fare just for a view. At spot we got room with view on the wall … would never book it with booking for this price, I had to pay around 140 more just for the view over 4 days. We had no choice as we arrived at 2AM but I am disappointed as this is abuse

We've been given a room right next to the street, traffic non stop! We had to leave after 1 hour. It felt like having a bed in the street!
