Great English speaking staff with a 'nothing is a problem' attitude. Power shower was the very best, the room was light, airy and having a lift was a great additional help for us. Free, car parking was easy in a large safe parking area.

“Lovely friendly well-run hotel.”
Lovely long-standing family hotel, with storage for our bikes and a pleasant biergarten. We ate in the restaurant which was very good, and breakfast was excellent. There was a leaking pipe in the bathroom, which we told them about and it was fixed within ten minutes.

“Brilliant- I’d definitely stay again!”
Everything was fantastic. Great secure bike storage, friendly and efficient staff, delicious breakfast, early check in where possible and luggage storage arrangements before the rooms were ready. Rooms were as advertised and very comfortable/clean. There is an excellent restaurant attached and the BBQ Banquet (which is only on particular nights) was amazing and really good quality food (especially meats) at reasonable prices. There is also a drinks fridge and snacks available which you keep record of yourself and pay at check out. It’s only a short and pleasant walk to the centre of town and attractions.

Friendly, clean,quiet,good location,great breakfast. Room temperature was nice and there was no light at night from outside. Shower was excellent and there was a hairdryer.

“lovely hotel but the parking in the town of Xanten is awful - Hotel Neumaier provided free parking”
we liked the breakfast, very good - hotel room was fine but had a sloping ceiling which initially caused some problems
