Lovely, comfortable, large room with modern en-suite bathroom. The accommodation is close to the centre of the village. Coffee, biscuits and chocolates available! I was able to park my bike in a secure outhouse.

“Lovely owners and secure bike storage”
Run by a lovely couple. They even gave us some apples from their orchard. The house is located in a perfect location and has great secure place for bike if needed.

“Great location and fabulous hosts.”
This is a fabulous place with fantastic owners, Ute and Dieter. They treated us as guests in their own home, welcoming us in, offering us coffee, chocolates and biscuits and explaining the best sights, and directions. We could park on their drive and left the car there the next day while we explored. Ute made us hot water for tea in the morning and was the perfect host. And their home is lovely!

“A relaxing stay, perfect for bike tourers, in a wonderful character home.”
A beautiful character house. A wonderful welcome and a locked shed for our bikes available. The location is perfect, just on the edge of the old town, but very peaceful. Our room was very comfortable and we slept well. Note that the upstairs double has coomb ceiling above the bed, fine for us but if you’re 6ft plus … We did not book breakfast but there are many cafes close by which Ute recommended. There is coffee, tea and chilled water available in the dining room. We didn’t use it but there is also a lovely garden on offer for relaxing in. A perfect, traditional B&B where the hosts take pride in making you welcome.

Ute was a lovely host, we had cycled all day and she welcomed us with a delicious coffee when we arrived. Also appreciated the delicious chocolate in the room.

Good location for visiting this historic town and not far from the Roman garrison. Informative landlady. Wonderful breakfast. Place to keep a bike securely as well as bikes available to ride around the town.
