Lovely hotel, well located. Beds were very comfortable and nice breakfast available.

The hotel is exactly what you expect when you think of a posada. It is old and beautiful, and therefore has character. Do not expect to get a modern sleeping factory. But, if you want to feel like you're living in an Mexican hacienda then this is the place for you. Staff is super helpful. Oh, and quite unique for this part of Xalapa: it has it's own parking.

Friendly helpful staff. Impressive gardens, nice communal areas. Good coffee in the rooms. Very clean. Short walk into the centre. Nice hot shower.

It is a lovely old style property. The gardens were lovely, and it was very peaceful when we were there. The breakfast was good and the service by the lady there was friendly. It is a bit more expensive than going out, but you have the blessing of having it right there.

Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable bed, immaculate room and premises and close to Plaza Juarez, but on a quiet side street.

The place is stunning and the room was so comftable. The breakfast was delicious.

the little things made the difference. Secured parking was 4 metres from the front door, the front desk staff person helped carry our bags to the room. The centro is very crowded and noisy but this location, 500 metres from centro was quiet. The rooms had coffee and a coffee maker, glasses for water and the property was maintained to an unusually high standard for the price charged. Breakfast is available onsite.

Attractive features and historical ambiance mixed with comfortable rooms make this a good mid-level option for a stay in the centre of Xalapa. Staff were kind and attentive, providing me with a radiator as well as extra blankets during a cold spell in January. Complimentary coffee a welcome touch, too.
