“Excellent”

The staff was excellent. I was using foreign eSIM so cannot add the host in WeChat but the staff was so kind she maintained communication till the departure thought the booking.com message option. Hired car for me to visit the nearby villages, contact with the driver when I was not finding him during my return. Arranged the drop off to the station too. The place was unique and very good worth every penny. The staff is good in English too.

“Simply Incredible!”

I was seriously blown away by this place. At first I thought I was walking through a museum but immediately realised this is where I was staying. I had seen the photos before but nothing comes close to actually going there in person. Yuki was so helpful every step of the way to ensure my stay was super comfortable. She speaks very good English too which helps. I wish I'd stayed here longer. Cannot recommend this place enough.

“A delightful guesthouse”

A delightful guesthouse within an old house with a courtyard garden and views across the surrounding village and fields. Very atmospheric with lots of carved wood and other decorative items. Also, a splendid dinner and breakfast. I loved it.

“Just perfect!”

This B&B is the most adorable establishment that I have ever stayed at. It has a meticulously arranged garden, and a very calm atmosphere. The house itself is a piece of history but the rooms keep a superb standard and are very clean. We ended up having most of our meals here simply because it was the best one in the village and they choose for you. They have a good selection of wines, also fine europeans. Although we settled for the local rice wine which was delicious and goes well with the food. Moreover, our contact person, Yuki, helped us with all the arrangements for transportation to and from the train station in addition to getting us to the mountains. Finally, everyone in the staff are super sweet and respectful. We felt so welcome and all our needs were taken care of.

“Terrible”

Absolutely horrible service. We hired a driver through them. We researched all the places we wanted to go but he refused to take us. Instead he convinced us we had to go where he suggested, all of which were horrible tourist traps. He even brought us to a crowded lot and said we'd have to take the bus the rest of the way to the place he suggested. After two days of this, we told them we didn't need the driver anymore and found a different one, which was much better. The hotel also refused to give us a fapiao, despite assuring us they could before we made the booking.

“Lovely spot that is nicely decorated, not quite Skywells cuisine”

We opted for this guesthouse when nearby Skywells was fully booked. This is a lovely guesthouse located in a scenic village in Wuyuan County. Multiple scenic places are nearby. The guesthouse features sky wells iconic to architecture of the region. Guests can enjoy the garden while enjoying floral tea that is readily available. There is also plenty to eat at each meal. The shower and toilet area are modern additions to the rooms. Water is hot and plentiful.
