Great location for parkrun

The hotel is a short drive away from the main highway. Check-in was simple and my messages were replied to very quickly even though I arrived quite late. Hotels' parking was fenced, which I was very happy about. Room was clean and just what was needed for one night stay. In the morning it turned out the place is in front of a beautiful lake.

This is a very basic hotel, however the staff were very friendly and this is a 100m from the local parkrun. We went as a large group of friends and really enjoyed our stay, it was basic but you can't argue with the value for money. Hearty breakfast and very clean with a late checkout. Short walk into town for evening meal and train station.

I was travelling for the Parkrun and this was the perfect location (it’s right on the route!) The room was basic and slightly dated but clean. The shower was hot and powerful (which was well needed after a cold run!) I asked for a hairdryer at reception, which they were able to lend me. The staff were friendly and could communicate in basic English. I had a pizza for dinner and it was cheap and very tasty. The breakfast wasn’t bad either! Was perfect for what I needed it for!

The purpose of our trip was an overnight stay on the way to another country, so we especially appreciate when the accommodation is located near the highway, which in this case was very good.

Setting by the lake

“Ideal for parkrun. Very basic, but clean.”

This is a clean but very basic hotel. The staff spoke no English at all, but we managed to get by, and they were very friendly. It was just £40 for the two of us for one night, including breakfast. We stayed there purely for parkrun, which was a fantastic location as it's on the course and there are no toilets at that parkrun. It was a twin room. One mattress was very hard, one very soft!

Privacy, not noisy, 24hours reception, locked parking,tasty breakfast.
