“Cycling Holiday Short Break”
A very unusual and unique accommodation, lovely to stay in a building that's steeped in history. Very secluded and quiet, has everything that you would need for a short break. The location in the old part of the town was excellent. Very handy for the ferry over to Gorinchem.

A very interesting place in a beautiful location. We had a great few days here, the accommodation, although compact, has everything you need and has such a cozy atmosphere that if something you think you need isn't there, it doesn't really matter! It is located in a square with a great Bistro 30 paces away, yet remains comfortably separate to give privacy. The town itself is compact, quiet, quaint and lovely. A short stroll via the windmill and along the old historic fortifications around the town provides great views of the river and all its associated activities. If you like to stay somewhere a bit different, just book it and enjoy

“Make everyone jealous by staying here….”
It was the most outrageous property - located in the gunpowder store for the old fortifications of the Dutch waterline defence. The underfloor heating was divine we felt so comfortable. The town was very special so different to other parts of the Netherlands, a real fort with a castle a short ferry hop away. The bed was comfortable, there were excellent cooking facilities and we brought our bikes inside. People stopped to look as we came in our special hobbit door.

“Very Quirky, cool location but dark and basic facilities- good for a one night stop.”
The property was really quirky in a lovely spot by canals and a windmill. Bikes to hire for free (although they take a little getting used too !) chairs and table outside was lovely. Really easy check in and check out .
