Room is clean and lovely staff

The vibe was outstanding, the room clean and very spacious, the electric blanket was a pleasant surprise and the staff was above, very friendly and nothing was too much. A gem.

The breakfast experience was terrible. Our waitress was quite untidy and clumsy; she did not give us any options and added honey to our granola without asking. We even had to ask for basic items like spoons and serviettes. Furthermore, the chef was cooking without a head cover and was dressed very unprofessionally. Please look into these hygiene and service issues

We liked the historical significance and the condition and atmosphere of the house, and its lovely garden full of different birds in the morning. The staff were warm and welcoming (and let us know right away that we'd forgotten a phone charger behind). The breakfast (included) was delicious and it was so nice to have complimentary drinks (including two local wines) in the bar fridge. The shower was piping hot, with good pressure, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in. It was special having the large church or 'moeder kerk' nearby, with its gentle bell on the half hour, counting out the hours (not at all intrusive). We walked to a nearby Fowlers for dinner and had a super meal with great ambience. We appreciated getting to see a bit more of Worcester, which we usually just drive past; residents must be proud of their well-kept, well-run town. We also enjoyed the Karoo Botanical Garden, just a short drive away.
