“We had a pleasant overnight stay at the Sonne Hotel while on a road trip through the Black Forest.”
We stayed one night at Hotel Sonne while on a road trip thorough the Black Forest. We were a little late getting in and the staff reached out to us and put our room keys in a lockbox and organised breakfast for us the following morning. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and we had a great continental breakfast the next morning.

Situated at a good location. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast has multiple options to choose from. The owner allowed us to late check in upon request. Ample parking space.

Great guesthouse to stay for a couple of days. The stuff was very helpful and friendly, the room as of decent size with a good bathroom but the shower cabin was a bit small

“Good value, clean, comfy and friendly”
The location is fantastic and parking is easy out front. The lift made it easy to get bags to the top floor and the hosts are super friendly. We had a family room which was a great size for us and our older teenage children. We didn't try the restaurant as it was under renovation but that would be a great addition. This is a good value for money hotel. Clean, comfy beds.

“Super holiday in a typical village in the Black Forest. Fabulous hiking straight from the door.”
The hotel is in a stunning location and provides a very warm welcome and excellent service. The rooms are light and well equipped and very comfortable. The hosts are very kind and friendly and always ready to help.

The surrounding area is stunning and is a wonderful place for hiking. The welcome from the owner was warm and helpful. Although byte building is very old it has a very useful lift to get your baggage to the upper floors!

The peaceful and scenic surroundings, with beautiful wooded areas, allowed for a truly restful experience. The host was also very friendly and welcoming.
