“Singer house is wonderful”
Lovely welcoming host. Room was spacious and clean and very comfortable.Loved the old style hotel.Great breakfast with lots of choice. We were travelling by bicycles and were given a secure place to store them.

“Double charged. Poor service.”
The property/bookings.com charged me twice for my stay and the property then ignored all of my requests for a receipt and refund. I received no contact from them again. It is mostly run remotely. The rooms are fine but not worth the price or the hassle. Think twice about staying here.

“Pleasant for a short stay”
The hostess was very friendly and we felt welcome. The building is old and dated but quite charming. The breakfast room is beautiful and the breakfast itself was very good.

“What I wanted, comfort, quiet, an easy walk and a good breakfast, I had it all.”
The location was an easy walk from the railway station. The room was a good size and a very comfortable bed. As for the breakfast, a good spread. I couldn't do it justice. If I could have only savoured more I would have. I did enjoy the jug of coffee, proper way to go. And the staff most friendly and helpful, especially as I arrived a little early on the first day
