Located off Route 40, this Winter Park lodge offers spacious suites with fully equipped kitchens. It offers ski-to-door access and is just 4 minutes’ walk away from the ski lifts at Winter Park Ski Resort. Free Wi-Fi and a sofa bed are included in all suites at Zephyr Mountain Lodge. Great location! Plenty of food around the area and everything is walkable distance. Hot tubs were very nice after a long day of skiing and with beautiful views!

It's location was perfect and there is so much to do at the resort. We were there during the summer and the alpine slide was a BLAST! We rode it over and over again. Gondola to the top was awesome too. A lot of places there and in town close REALLY early, but they just don't seem to have staff to keep them open later, so be prepared for that. It might be different during the winter when their ski season is in full swing. No AC, so since they were on the warmer side of July it was a little stuffy in our room, but the box fans provided kept the cool air moving from outside, so it wasn't a bid deal.

“Decent ski in/out option in otherwise budget accommodation”
Slopeside units (ask for those and not Riverside) are as close as you can get to true ski in/out in Winterpark. Walk out, ski down 100 yards and you at the Gondola. Take the Corridor on the way back and it will get you to the door. Fair warning - to get to Corridor you have to take blue trails, and those are not easy, especially Mary Jane. Ski lockers, kitchen stuff, all good.
