“Quirky place to stay comfortable and clean”
Quirky rooms in an annex to the restaurant. Rooms were novel as they had sleeping cupboards. Bathroom large as a wet room style. Restaurant and bar to the front with plenty of outside seating also. Little basic cafe for icecream and drinks and small takeaway food items. Parking available. Staff friendly.

“Since our stay was only for 2 nights, it was acceptable.”
The hotel reception simply handed us the keys to the room and we had no more contact. The room is very quiet, but the beds are built into large wall closets which may not be the taste of everyone, particularly if they are prone to bump their heads. They only do breakfasts on advance order and we ate elsewhere.

“The cutest little hotel”
Probably the cutest hotel I have stayed in: 4 rooms in a wooden building at a camping site by a canal.The beds are in cupboards, which was fun. We slept well. Breakfast was served at the table in the restaurant - really delicious and plentyful. The village of Winsum is cosy, with several restaurants.

Very cute hotel. Unusual beds in closets, but really comfy and fun! A couple of minutes away walking from the city center. Free parking at the hotel. We had a perfect stay there!

Nice cosy room for 4 people or a couple with kids. The place is very nice even in winter and I believe it will be even better for spring-summer vacations with many activities. Groningen is only 20 minutes away by car and 30 by train (I think) for anyone who would like to combine vacations in nature and a stroll in the city.

Location is ok, just a few minutes stroll to the Winsum coty center, around is kinda vacation park, with restaurant and even rent-a-boat. Quiet in the night.
