“Lovely surroundings, great hospitality and very relaxing!”

The Hidden Gem is a great bed and breakfast tucked in the Walkerville area, which as cute shops and fantastic restaurants. We have stayed at the Hidden Gem many times, and it is always a "10!" The owners are wonderful people and stay on the property, so anything you need they help with. The breakfasts ( and fresh cookies) are absolutely amazing!!

Clean , comfortable. Unfortunately my schedule didn't allow me to experience breakfast which I'm sure would have only enhanced my stay. Looking forward to booking again during my next trip to Windsor

Genuinely lovely hosts who care about every single detail. We felt safe and cosy staying here, and the breakfasts were amazing. Troy and Sue were also so kind to give us a delicious takeaway breakfast on our final day when we were leaving early.

Exceptionally friendly owners. They really assist you in any way they can. very nice room. Windsor station is at walking distance. Our train left too early to take breakfast and they prepared a take-away.

Breakfast was fantastic and it was a wonderful change to be have a choice of menu items. Sometimes you want a light breakfast and this is the first B&B that gave us that choice. Well Done!! The room had everything we needed and Troy was a life safer for getting me access to YouTube so I could continue my fitness routine. In warmer weather I can see the outside patio area as being a wonderful place to spend time in.

Both the hosts Sue and Troy were very hospitable and provided a warm welcome to support the excellent facilities at the B&B. Location within Windsor was great with the most popular area for dining and shopping just 5 mins from the property. Both went above and beyond to help us with our forward travel plans.

Breakfast was delicious and varied: lovely fruit bowl, delicious crustless quiche on day one and potato pancakes and local sausage day two, PLUS dietary accomodations! Sue gave me boiled water that I might make my own tea in my room. The conversation was also lively and friendly!

Location, room was very nice, and great window nook in the loft room. Very clean space, with lovely landscaping outside. The hosts were amazing and will definitely be back.

This was our second stay at A Hidden Gem and we stayed in "the Loft" room. The room is both spacious and cozy at the same time, and has several little "nooks and crannies" throughout the space to cozy up and relax as well as a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. We are so glad we had some extra time to enjoy sitting in the bay window to read, and take a soak in the tub. The hosts, Sue and Troy, are spectacularly pleasant, and can point you to good restaurants and shops, all within short walking distance from the B&B. The breakfast was amazing - vegetarian quiche, fruit smoothie and delicious carrot/cranberry muffins (among a list of other great options).

Everything was awesome: room, location, communication, breakfast, hosts.

Quiet and safe neighborhood. Delicious homemade breakfast with a menu to choose from. Very attentive and welcoming hosts always ready to help (one of the hosts is a charming fluffy cat). The loft suite is large and cosy, perfectly clean and well-designed, has a tea/coffee maker and a small collection of books and games (even a coloring book and pencils). Easy and flexible check-in and check-out. My bus back was in the afternoon and I was invited to stay a bit longer beyond the usual check-out time to rest before the trip. This place is truly a hidden gem and I'm happy I found it. :)

The owner Sue & Troy were very friendly with excellent hospitality. The breakfast supposed to start at 8am. But we told them that we need to leave about 6+am. They immediately offer to prepare breakfast for us by 6am. They even recommend us the places of interest for the day.
