“Excellent”

The hosts (including dog Bobby) were very welcoming and helpful in organising transport for me to the airport on my departure day. The room was clean, cosy and comfortable and very private. There were good shared amenities for cooking and chilling by the pool. Fantastic value for money, close to the mall and only a short walk or taxi to the centre of Windhoek.

Jan and Mariette are amazing and kind Hosts. The room was impeccable. I'll definitely book another stay here when I return to Windhoek

Welcomed by the owner, which was lovely. Beautiful villa and facilities. Great recommendation for dinner - The Stellenbosch Restaurant and Wine Bar. Bokmakierie is within walking distance of a big shopping mall, if you need anything. The recommendation for taxi service was also spot-on. We will stay at Bokmakierie again!

The owner was very welcoming and available for any help and questions. He assisted us with booking a taxi to and from the restaurant as we were unable to download the app for the local taxi service. His manner was kind and professional. The garden area is a beautiful place and every where is well kept.

The room was clean, the towels were clean, the homemade rusks were amazing. Great hospitality too.

“A cozy and comfortable stay in a luxurious self catering guesthouse”

The saff was extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms were not only cozy but also very neat, clean and comfortable. The rooms and the big apartment are all fantastic and they are equipped with everything ond needs and a good value for money. I liked the fact that they were even living plants in the rooms and that the garden was so beautiful and the pool was large and clean. Trees in the garden provide a cozy intimate atmosphere and much of shade! They even had an information file containing restaurants, bars, food delivery services and places of interest in Windhoek in each room and apartment. A very clear recommendation for a very comfortable and nice accommodation in Central Windhoek close to Maruae Shopping Mall.

Our welcome from Jan and Mariette was fantastic. They were so accommodating to two very tired travelers. We were able to leave our bags at reception and return for an early check in at no extra charge. A dinner recommendation was suggested and the reservation made on our behalf. The bed was really comfortable and we had a good nights sleep.

Lovely, incredibly helpful hosts. We stayed here twice during our Namibia trip (first and last night) and could leave some luggage here which we did not want to take with us in the camper.
