“Amazing safari with them !!”

Excellent value for money! Very clean. They are very friendly 🙏🌞💓 and accommodating! They even stored our luggage for the day! We highly recommend it!! >>>We recommend doing the safari with the hotel managers because it was absolutely perfect. Again, fantastic value for money. And the safari entrance is just down the street, a two-minute walk away.

Really nice, local feeling place. The guys that run it are both super lovely. Beautiful quiet location near the park entrance and near a lake to walk around and see birds.

Susil and the other people were very very friendly and helpfull! We were well received aswell. There was no restaurant nearby so they made sure we had food and got us diner. They answered all of our questions very quick. It was also very close to the safari park. Thanks a lot!

“Great location, air con and mosquito net”

The staff that looked after the property was kind, he brought me tea and gave me advice on taking the bus into town. Location is near the National Park, easily a 5 min walk to the gate. Room was spacious, clean, air con was great, hot water, mosquito net was great.

“Basic but clean stopover for an early safari”

This was a basic but clean and comfortable stop over for an early morning safari in Wilpattu National Park. The accommodation was no frills but the staff were friendly and helpful and we had a delicious meal of rice and curry the night we arrived. You can walk to the gates of the national park in a matter of minutes so it’s a great spot if you’re doing a safari in the morning. We saw loads of animals including leopards, monkeys, crocodiles… You can also walk round a lovely lake which is on the doorstep. Other than that though, there was not much within the immediate area, I don’t think there was anywhere else to eat for example, within walking distance.

Nice place to visit Wilpattu national park. We were greeted by the host who was very nice and helpful. For the safari we really recommend the full day tour for the best experience, because the National park had a lot to offer with beautiful animals and nature.

The location is perfect for exploring Wilpattu National Park. The guesthouse is surrounded by nature, making it a peaceful spot to relax before and after a safari. The staff was friendly, and the wildlife sightings around the property were a nice bonus.

The location is fab as you are within a short walk of the park gate. The staff are fantastic, kind and attentive. Food was excellent and tasty. They also prepared a Safari breakfast for us even though we’d booked the Safari directly.

Loved location and staff very helpful

We had a great time at the hotel. Hidden in the trees and walking distance from the wild park. The tour we had through the park was also super nice, unfortunately the guides English was not the best, but we managed all the way through and he was super polite :) The hotel is a little bit dated, but still a lovely place to stay!

Great location near NP gate and a couple of walks good for bird watching plus I had a close encounter with an elephant! Sisul is an excellent bird guide and very knowledgable about Wilpattu wildlife.

Susil and the personnel of the hotel are very kind. The food proposed was good (one menu available only, typical from Sri Lanka). Wilpattu Dolosmahe is walking distance (200 m) from Wilpattu National Park gate. The beds are comfortable (good mastress)

The dinner there was really good. You cannot get a better location, it’s 100m next to the entrance of the national park! The staff is super hospitalising! They can offer you safari drivers as well, for a really good price!
