“Highly priced for the service received”

Large clean room, good air- con, comfortable mattress , good location close to Wilpattu National Park entrance. Breakfast good. The pool was clean.

Very nice hotel near Wilpattu National Park! Nice room with everything very clean, and AC. Even though we arrived a bit late for them, they prepared us a really nice dinner. Also we booked the safari with them and very worth i! I recommend it! Many thanks!

Short way to Wilpattu National Park

The swimming pool was a welcome relief. The dinner that we had on site was great! The private patio on our back door was nice as we rigged up a drying line.

Close to the park but no other shops and restaurants near by, food was good on site though. Rooms looking out over the garden were nice and relaxing to sit outside in

The food was excellent. We both had the set menu and it was lovely. The room was clean.

Warmly greeted by Damien and the boys. We were swiftly sorted for a safari, lunch, and evening meal. Good location for Wilpattu National Park

“Home away from home in beautiful Wilpattu”

The rooms where very nice: spacious and tastefully decorated with comfy beds. The all over look and feel off Tembo Cottage is great, a lttle paradise in lucious green surroundings. Breakfast was very good, as well was dinner. But what made our stay extra nice where the very warm and welcoming people off Tembo. Friendly, helpfull and making you feel at home. Also the safari they arranged for us was great!! It realy feit like an adverture, surching for wild animals in the jeep. 10/10

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, lovely room and decoration for extra touch. Its right next to Wilpattu national park, so there's a real feeling of wildlife/adventure awaiting when you're there. We had a delicious buffet for dinner on arrival, which was delicious. Relaxing pool for cooling off - the place is run by a family who put all of their care into making your stay as enjoyable and peaceful as possible.

Tembo staff were amazing, Nothing was too much, They treat the guest's like family, a beautiful peaceful place Clean, amazing food , great location, and on point for price The owners are also on site and absolutely happy to answer any questions you have Absolutely 10/10

Clean, comfortable and lovely surroundings. The staff were so kind and helpful. And the organised safari was amazing!

The chef and the rest of the staff. The delays in preparing the rooms and the dinner were no problem since the staff reacted so graciously.The lovely and spacious rooms, the beautiful architecture, especially the window and door frames in stone. Everything done with love and taste.

Breakfast was good. Presentation and variety were good. Beds were very comfortable and staff were polite and tried their best to make us happy, especially the room/waiting lady and chef.

The larger triple room was very nice but the double room in the older block was small and a little cramped. The staff were very friendly and nice. The food was lovely. The hotel arranged the safari for us which was good value with a good driver. We saw lots of animals.

All the staff was nice ans helpful. Last minute situation was taken care of very efficiently!

It is very close to the national park which is convenient. We didn’t get a chance to try the pool but it looked inviting. The staff are amazing and the food delicious. The rooms were lovely and clean, overall I thought it was great value for the money.
