“5 Star Guesthouse in beautiful Wilderness”

This is an incredibly lovely place to stay when visiting Wilderness. Our spacious suite overlooked the river and was situated close to the village restaurants and shops. Our hosts Gerald and JD were absolutely amazing hosts, very attentive, knowledgeable and provided a first class service. Breakfast is first class, so fresh and plentiful. We absolutely loved the Manor, faultless.

We have just returned from 3 nights at Wilderness Manor which was our last stay on a month long holiday. The accommodation is beautifully presented and located overlooking the river 15 minutes level walk from Wilderness centre. Gerald and JD were the perfect hosts, providing their guests with information and tips on the area and were genuinely keen that they enjoyed their experiences at their lovely home and Wilderness. We stayed in a superb room with a balcony and four poster bed. The breakfasts which we enjoyed on the terrace were delicious and substantial.

We stayed two nights and the location was great just walking distance from town. Rooms very spacious and clean. The whole property was decorated tastefully. The breakfast was delicious! The hostess were very friendly and informative.

We really liked everything about this property with fantastic hosts! They were very pleasant and sharing a lot of excellent knowledge. Good location on the river, yet not too far from shopping and restaurants. Could do a lot of sightseeing without having to cross the busy N2 highway. The room we stayed in was nice and big and had everything needed with a little, very special private garden. A superb breakfast was served every morning!

The property was so beautiful and eclectic. I loved it so much. Breakfast was great and there was good choice. Our hosts were attentive, sometimes a little too much, but willing to go above and beyond to ensure an enjoyable stay.

The accommodation was superb, unfortunately we had the garden facing room so nowhere to sit or relax in our room. The breakfasts were fantastic! Better than any restaurant. Our hosts were amazing and so informative about restaurants, places of interest etc. D6

The breakfast was superb, a choice of cereals and fresh fruit with yogurts, selection of cold meats and cheese and fresh pastries and bread, followed by a freshly well cooked and presented hot breakfast. We had to be out by 8am one morning for a trip and they prepared an early breakfast for us that was the same as normal. The ground floor room was large and gave out to a delightful shaded garden, the bathroom with all the normal amenities was massive with large shower and bath. The hosts were attentive and had information to hand. The public rooms on the 1st Floor opened onto balconies that gave lovely views over the lagoon. A nice walk along the lagoon into Wilderness of 1km led to numerous places to eat and the other way to several walks into the park. Parking was off road and ample.

The room was fantastic, very large and spacious and finished with everything we needed. The hosts were extremely friendly, informative and helpful offering us a lot of insight into the area and ensuring we felt at home.
