Overview
General description Wilderness Lake View is a free standing house divided into 3 apartments / suites, each with its own private entrance and balcony or deck. It is located in Wilderness in the Garden Route, approximately half way between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth. A great destination to explore Wilderness and surrounding areas and within easy access to the pristine Blue flag beaches where you may see whales and dolphins frolic in the sea. Located at the highest point in Wilderness East overlooking Island Lake, the winding Serpentine River, Wilderness National Park and the Outeniqua Mountains. Each apartment overlooks this amazing view, It is an ideal base to explore the local beauty spots and an easy drive to Knysna, Mossel Bay, Oudtshoorn, to name a few. A very popular spot for holidays and weekends away and only a few minutes drive from white sandy beaches, shops and restaurants. Near to nature trails, bird watching, cycling, golf, paragliding, horse riding and many more activities. 3 minute drive (1.2km) to the nearest beach, and 4 minutes drive (3.2km) to Wilderness National Park. George Airport is 29 km away and Knysna is 40 km. World famous golf courses in less than 30 minutes drive. Free parking and WIFI available. Uninterruptable power for lights and WIFI.

The hosts were absolutely wonderful, very attentive, checked in to make sure we were ok, we truly felt welcomed and taken care of. Thank you so much to Kathy and Roy for your hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful view and spent many hours watching it at night. The kitchen facilities were good and they very kindly offered cleaning every day.

Property is well situated and the host was very helpful and responsive. Many things to do in the area. Good value for money. We were greeted with a thoughtful gift of shortbread cookies:)
