Perched on a hill, The Tops is a 5-minute walk from the beach and offers panoramic views over the Wilderness and Indian Ocean. It features a lush garden and barbecue facilities. The bright rooms feature large windows and come fitted with a fan, electric blankets and tea-and-coffee-making facilities. Towels and linen are provided and each room has a private bathroom. Breakfast at The Tops can be served in the privacy of your room upon request. A number of restaurants offering a variety of cuisines can be found within 2 km. The Wilderness and Garden Route area boasts a variety of activities ranging from canoeing, hiking and paragliding. For golfing, the Fancourt Hotel & Country Club Estate and Dolphin Creek Golf Estate are within 30 minutes’ drive. George Airport is 24 km away.

Wow...From the minute I got here I was met with friendliness...what an absolute amazing host named Tom. He deserve a gold star😊😊. The place is amazing, stunning views and exactly as advertise on the website. Definitely worth the money and would come again😊😊.

“not for old people please be honest and tell clients in your advert there are lots of stairs”
Tom is a great host. The bed too small, footenend request. Cannot sleep with f/end. Breakfast was great100,%. Not a single advert about the 50m stairs .how can old people climb so many stairs. Sorry to say carpet was dusty, chairs not clean and on top of all mirrors and windows very dusty, definitely did not clean before we booked in. Bnb is very high up the hill, i would never book a place like that if i knew the area. It is not for old people who go see dr for knee replacement. I told the owner on the way to drs. We enjoyed the morning on the deck. Sorry for the bad review, but we also run airbnb. It should be supervised daily for cleanliness. Not ideal for our standards.

“Unique place with great views”
Lovely room with great views from the terrace. Excellent breakfast and helpful and knowledgeable host. Friendly staff and a bonus visit from Tom and Jerry, the local loeries! The communal kitchen/lounge area was useful and well equipped. The luggage funicular was extremely welcome.

The location was excellent, up the hill so great views but still only a few minutes walk from the shops and restaurants. The host Tom was very welcoming and had a lot of local knowledge to share. There was a lot of outdoor space to sit and enjoy the view. Both rooms had a beautiful view of the sunrise in the morning. Breakfast was tasty if a bit chaotic.

A great location with views over the sea, perfect for dolphin and bird watching . Loved seeing the Laurie at breakfast. Great customer service, Tom and his team were excellent. Very good value with a great breakfast included. Would definitely stay again.

“Beautiful Views to the sea, surrounded by nature, short walk into town.”
We loved the location, just a shot walk down into Wildetness, the view was fabulous, Tom the host was very informative about the area, and most friendly and hospitable. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the beautiful birds come and go. And the anazing sun rise

We really enjoyed the views from the tops, right from the room and at the breakfast area. Tom, the manager was such a helpful guide and a friendly face, ready to help with anything. The breakfast each morning of our stay was thoroughly enjoyable with cute guides on what to do and see in the area.

“Excellent GuestHouse- Good Value for Money”
Beautiful little establishment in a very central location. Sam, Lorraine & Tom are the best, most gracious hosts. Wonderful views, due to it's being high up on the hill yet still walking distance to the village, restaurants, etc. Also because it's high up, there are many, many stairs (like three to four long flights) so do be mindful of this. I highly recommend TheTops.
