Very friendly host and very cozy and great stay. There were a lot of extras (e.g. heated blankets) which were very appreciated! There was never a moment we realised we were missing something. Will definitely come again!

“Pretty little red door cottage”

The location was beautiful in a quiet neighbourhood, about a 5 min drive out of the Wilderness village towards Sedgefield. Our host were very friendly and helpful, but respectful of our privacy. The cottage was well appointment to ensure a comfortable stay, a home away from home. Bed and pillows very comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed. The cottage was serviced once during our 7 night stay which was unexpected, but appreciated. Yummy treats and basic spices, teas, plunger coffee available. Small but full size fridge freezer (not bar size) Gorgeous views out over the valley. Beach, petrol station with a convenience store and barista coffee within walking distance. Laundry available onsite to do our own washing, included the use of laundry liquid. Two 5 litre water bottles available and filled daily or upon request.

We were warmly welcomed by Quinton, Wayne and Holly and immediately felt at home. The place has everything you need for a comfortable stay. A real home from home. Quinton was very helpful with tips for exploring the area. A wonderful host.

From arriving at Red Door cottage till the day we left, we enjoyed every moment. The cottage had everything we needed and more. Quinton and Wayne always made sure we had everything we needed and immediately made us feel at home. The property is well situated and very peaceful. We will most definitely go back and will HIGHLY recommend it. We were very sad to leave and can definitely see why it is so popular.

“Perfect little stay in the wilderness”

We really loved our stay at Red Door. Everything you need for a self catering stay. Very comfortable , neat space. The human touch and kindness is what makes this stay really lovely. Quinton is really great with communication and is happy to assist with any questions. Outdoor gas braai is also lovely for an evening braai on the patio. Quick drive (4 min) to the beach - you could walk as well, to hiking spots and lovely restaurants.

Absolutely worth it! The place was so clean. It really is home away from home. Quinton and Wayne, you really make it a place to remember. Thank you for your hospitality. We will definitely be visiting again. Ps. We love Holly.
