The location was stunning - river frontage with a view over the vlei. Good privicy from neighbouring properties. Woderful welcoming basket of snacks. Plenty of firewood for braais. Well maintained property and spacious rooms.

Everything was amazing. Peaceful on another level. Loved the look and feel of the Cabin. It's not Modern, its suited for the location, which I appreciated.

Amazing location, fabulous patio with braai and hot tub right on the water. Fully equipped kitchen, huge TV, comfy sofa, crispy clean bed linen - everything well thought out for a most comfy stay!

Excellent location near town and restaurants but very special to cano on the river infront of the house. The kol-kol woodfire tub on the outside deck was fantastic. The cabin is very well equipped with all the kitchen utensils and the bedding and beds were very comfortable. Pieter was an excellent host. We felt safe and loved every moment of our 3 day stay. We will come back again

The location was amazing, and the setting was perfect. We loved using the kayak, and the home was beautifully laid out to provide a great sense of being at home. It was fully equipped, which was fantastic. Our kids enjoyed the hot tub for hours. We experienced both rainy days and beautiful sunny days, but they didn’t mind being in the hot tub even in the rain. We had a lot of fun as a family playing board games by the fireplace during the chilly evenings. The home was well-equipped with a fireplace which warmed up the whole cabin, extra blankets, gas heaters, heated bedding, and more. We're already trying to find available dates to go back again. It’s centrally located near many activities for kids, even though it feels remote the moment you step into the cabin. We love this place!

The property is centrally located for facilities in Wilderness. It is right on the lake and in a secure estate. It is immaculate, clean and a lot of thought went into the making it a very enjoyable stay. Gasheaters, aircon, woodburning stove, hot tub, luxury linen. It really is my definition of affordable luxury. Instructions are simple to follow but clear. An available but unobtrusive host. We had the best time.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The location right on the water was perfect, offering stunning views and easy access to a kayak. The owner communicated clearly and has made sure everything was well thought through, including all the items available for use in the house. It truly felt like a home away from home.

Lots of options to keep warm during cold nights. Wood fireplace a bonus. Back up for loadshedding. Did not use, but nice to have canoe and hot tub. Wifi was good. Clear responsive communication.

The house was spotlessly clean. Everything you need for self catering was supplied. Stunning views and a very efficient fast warming wood burning hot tub.

This place is what dreams are made of. If you like nature and can appreciate a beautiful sunrise, this place is deffo for you. I would get up every morning to watch the sun rise right on the deck in front of my bedroom. This place is worth every penny. There was no load shedding for us because of the solar panels. We had a great time. The owner was also fantastic to deal with he took great care of us. 5 stars from me.
