Overview
Set beside a forest and intersected by a stream, Oakhurst Farm Cottages are situated in Hoekwil, Wilderness along the Garden Route. This charming farm setting features a farm dam and forest. Each self-catering cottage is decorated in a country-style and has a well-equipped kitchen and living area furnished in wooden floors. The private bathroom has a shower and basin. Fresh farm eggs and milk can be provided on request, and barbecue facilities are available. A number of restaurants can be found in the village of Wilderness, within 3 km. There are walking and cycling trails within the indigenous forest areas on the farm, and guests can visit the dairy farm during milking times by prior arrangement. Other outdoor activities such as fishing at the dam can be arranged by the staff. A number of restaurants can be found 15 minutes' drive away in the village of Wilderness. Wilderness beach is a 20-minute drive away and the George Airport is 32.7 km from the farm.

“Excellent stay”
Charming cottage, with so much thought and care taken in the whole experience. We loved the variety of activities on offer- from feeding the donkeys, horse riding, ride bikes, take walks, birdwatching, lazing in the hot tub…. The list is long! Can’t wait to visit again!

“We absolutely loved our stay here. It’s an amazing place for families.”
We loved everything about it despite the bad weather we had during the stay. We loved the setting of the cottages, the homey feel and the kids fell in love with the horses and everything there was to do on the property.

We were here for the second time, and the first time was definitely too short. The staff is wonderful and very helpful, the surrounding area offers beautiful views, and all the attractions are a short drive away. The cottages are beautifully finished and equipped with everything you need. There's also an on-site shop where you can buy food, drinks, enjoy a good coffee from the espresso machine, and much more. I recommend this place and would gladly return, even though I live far away in Denmark.

“Great place to stay”
Our cottage was lovely and peaceful with a hot tub and braai and large veranda to enjoy. The staff and shop were brilliant and the surrounding of the farms are lovely. It would be a brilliant base for a family staying to explore the area. We were glad the receptionist persuaded us to have a hot tub as it was brilliant - the bathrooms and bedroom were lovely in the cottage.

“Perfect stay at the forge”
One of the best places if ever stayed in. Big house with pool and hot tub surrounded by nature. We loved the rooms, the beds and especially views. Everyone was very friendly and the whole place is worth a visit. Would love to stay here again one day.

Wonderful spot on Seven passes road. We had a lot of privacy and space near the trees. The walk on the farm is beautiful. Rooms were clean and well equipped. Location was great.
