Set on the banks of the Touws River which forms part of the Wilderness National Park, Fairy Knowe Hotel offers a restaurant, outdoor pool and watersports facilities. All rooms are equipped with a TV, tea-and-coffee-making facilities and a bathroom with bath and shower. Most rooms have views of the river. The chalets offer garden and river views. A Full English Breakfast is served every morning. There is also a restaurant and a bar. At Fairy Knowe Hotel you will find a tennis court and guests can rent canoes on site. An array of activities can be enjoyed on site or in the surroundings, including fishing, hiking, table tennis and dart. Wilderness Beach is a 15-minutes’ walk from the hotel. “Beautiful sty by the river”
We were warmly welcomed by Jacques, who was a fantastic host and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. One of the things we were most excited about was kayaking on the river. Unfortunately, figuring out which canoes we were actually allowed to use turned into a bit of an unexpected treasure hunt! After spending far too much time trying to solve the mystery, a wonderful lady at reception came to our rescue. She personally arranged two canoes for us, and before long we were happily paddling down the river instead of conducting a canoe investigation. The kayaking ended up being one of the highlights of our trip, and our family created some truly special memories together. A huge thank you to the amazing lady at reception for going above and beyond to make it happen. Great hospitality, beautiful surroundings, and staff who genuinely care. We left with smiles, happy memories, and slightly stronger paddling muscles!

We stayed in the garden lodg, very cute and simply done with a comfy bed. Superb location, directly onto the river. We enjoyed the breakfast. We needed to take a taxu into the town as it's too far to walk and we wanted to enjoy wine with our meal. Staff were lovely, and a super touch to have a welcome drink and an evening sherry for guests. The grounds and garden are so beautiful.

“Once here, you come back again and again”
Most amazing setting, whether it is morning, noon or evening, the view is absolutely beautiful. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was very good.

Very nice located in the nature with the river directly at the hotelrooms. Kajaks for free which is very nice. Breakfast was also very good. They also have a nice playground for kids.

Everything was superb! Our room was lake view and we had the most stunning view. Rooms were comfortable, breakfast accommodated for Halaal, staff were wonderful and the activities were amazing. We will definitely be back! Special mention to Jacques for going the extra mile and setting up a games area for us
