The location was perfect for the Ironman in Hoorn. The little house where we stayed was absolutely divine. It had everything we needed and more, from the extremely comfy bed to the cold drinks waiting in the fridge and the farewell gift. Marie-Louise speaks perfect English and provides so many lovely little touches to the stay that it was simply perfect.

Very beautiful house. Amazing view from the inside and in front of the house. Tulip fields, and dutch windmills in the distance, nice! Quiet and good sleeping room with comfortable bed. Cozy and nice living room, modern kitchen with all equipment, and stylish modern bathroom. 30min with a car to Amsterdam area. Few nice small 'coast' towns around. Closest grocery shops are like 5min with car, 10min with bike. Our stay was only 3 days but we already feel the good vibe from this unique place.

Perfect location in pretty and quiet village close to Ijsselmeer shore line and cycle path to Enkhuizen and Hoorn, two of the prettiest towns in The Netherlands and the Markerwaarddijk across the IJsselmeer.. Enkhuizen has an excellent train service to Amsterdam and free parking. The cottage was well designed, comfortable and equipped in a quiet corner of a pretty garden, looking out to fields. Our host Marie-Louise was extremely friendly and helpful. There was excellent indoor storage for bicycles and a charging point for batteries. We had a delightful holiday and this is the best holiday let we have stayed in. Full marks!!
