“Great apartment”

We had a brilliant stay at KP Claudia. The location is perfect - right in the centre of Wieliczka, roughly a 5minute walk to the Salt Mine and close to all other amenities. The rooms are exactly as advertised - spacious, modern and clean, with a large bed. The host is very attentive and friendly. We would happily book this again on another visit.

“Mariusz takes care of everything”

Our stay at this place genuinely exceeded every expectation we had, and looking back we agreed it was one of the best accommodations we've experienced in years. From the moment we walked in, it was obvious that this place is cared for with real attention — everything was spotlessly clean, fresh, and prepared in a way that made us feel at home immediately. The bed linens were crisp, the bathroom looked like it had been styled for a magazine, and the kitchenette was set up so we could make our morning coffee within minutes of arriving. This isn't the kind of cleanliness you get from a quick turnover — this is the kind that comes from someone who actually cares about the place they're renting out. The absolute highlight, however, was the owner, Mariusz. He's the kind of host you rarely come across these days. He welcomed us with genuine warmth and made it clear from the start that nothing was too much trouble. Throughout our entire stay, he was incredibly responsive, helpful, and accommodating — answering every question quickly, offering advice we didn't even think to ask for, and going out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. Honestly, we left with the strong impression that if we asked Mariusz for anything at all, he could arrange it. Recommendations for restaurants, day trips, the best route into Kraków, how to handle the salt mine tickets, where to find good coffee — he had the answer, and every tip he gave us turned out to be excellent. The location is also fantastic — perfectly placed for exploring the area while still being a calm, restful spot to come back to in the evening. Wieliczka itself is a charming little town, and staying here meant we were close to the salt mine, close to Kraków, but well outside the tourist chaos. Every evening we returned tired from sightseeing but happy to have such a peaceful and welcoming space to unwind in.

I definitely recommend this accommodation! The owner is an amazing person – he explains everything about the village, tells you where to find things, and recommends great places to eat. The accommodation is located close to Kraków. We were completely satisfied with the room – everything was nice, modern, and clean. Parking was not a problem at all. A truly great experience and the owner deserves 100 points! 😊

“I will choose KP Klaudia every time.”

In advance before I had even arrived to Poland Mariusz had introduced himself, providing information and was available for any questions I had, Mariusz provided me the best methods to get from the airport to KP Claudia in Wieliczka. I messaged him fifteen minutes before arrival and he was already outside waiting for me, The apartment is spacious and even has Netflix and a mini fridge, there is a communal kitchen with everything you would need. Mariusz gives you a tour of the place and shows you on a map the best local spots! Throughout my stay Mariusz would ensure I had everything I needed, asking if fresh items etc were required, I could not of asked for a better host, I will be returning later in the year and will use KP Claudia again for sure, fantastic experience, thank you Mariusz! 10/10

Mariusz is just as welcoming as the other reviews say, very responsive by sms, very helpful with tips for a nice stay in Wieliczka. We were on a bed that was far too soft for us, until we asked to change rooms and he very graciously accepted, and then we were on a perfectly comfortable bed. Spacious bedroom with private, slightly narrow bathroom, a communal kitchen with lots of space to cook downstairs, iron available on request, everything clean. Enjoy!

We highly recommend KP Claudia Apartments. The location is excellent, right in the center of Wieliczka, with a beautiful view of the Salt Mine. The owner is very helpful, well-informed, and always willing to assist, making the stay completely hassle-free. The apartment is well equipped, clean, well maintained, and very comfortable. Overall, a great place to stay with everything you need for a pleasant visit.

“Great location to visit Krakow.”

Texted owner from 15 mins away, as he had requested and he was waiting at the front of the building for us in the pouring rain. Temporally parked by front door and owner helped us in with our bags. Private gated parking is 50m behind apartment. He showed us to a couple of rooms to choose from, we took the smaller one (which wasn't small) at the back, as the others face the road. Large double bed, two quilts, two pillows, bedside tables and lamps, wardrobe, armchair, dinning chair, table, kettle, large TV with streaming services, WiFi, Aircon, heating, small fridge, on-suite with large shower, toilet, sink and hairdryer. Balcony with two-seater sofa. Access to a small kitchenette outside on landing and a large one on the ground floor with tables and chairs. Owner was very helpful, informative and spoke good English. He explained the local area on a large wall map, which showed the salt mine entrance and restaurant's. He also showed/explained the best/quickest way to the salt mine entrance and the railway station. Lastly he recommended a restaurant which he uses, called Szolnia Wieliczka. Amazing restaurant we ate there all three nights, cannot recommend enough, especially the Ribs. Breakfast. It was really good. Pre made board with room number on containing tomato, cucumber, avocado, pepper's, various cheese, various meats, spicy sausage, hard boiled egg. To cook if required eggs and sausages. Self serves cereal, bread, rolls, croissants, jams, butter, sauces, bottled water and fruit juice, fruit, tea, coffee. Used the train to visit Krakow, just over two pounds for two singles and took 20 mins. Main station is attached to large shopping centre and 10 min stroll into old town. Would definitely stay again if in area.

“A very enjoyable place to have a family get-together.”

Marius made us feel very welcome. We visited from UK and flew into Krakow. We met our son and his family who live in Czech Republic androve there. Marius advised us on transport in the area. The train was a short walk away and we went to Krakow twice during our three days. We also took the train to the airport when we left. Less than a couple of ££ each so amazing value and exceptionally clean. Our grandson enjoyed cooking eggs for our breakfasts each day and as we were all on one floor it was like being in a large apartment. The rooms and beds were all comfortable. Marius also recommended three restaurants. His favourite was our favourite too. We visited it three times. The pub which was closer was good food but too noisy to hear each other to talk so we only went there once to eat. Salt mine trip was good and Marius also gave us good information about the best way to get to the correct mine shaft.

Mr Mariusz is an amazing host, giving us a quick introduction to the surrounding area upon arrival. The room itself was very spacious and clean, and the kitchen downstairs had everything we needed. Would definitely visit again :)

Mariusz was in contact through out the journey, before we left Manchester, when we arrived at the airport and to the house. The weather was horrible with thunderstorms but he was waiting for us to show us the house and rooms. We didn't have breakfast booked but he sorted it. The breakfast set up was amazing even better that hotels if you needed warm breakfast everything was there for you to cook. I had a faulty shower and when I came back in the evening it was all fixed. The house was sparkling clean and Mariusz went an extra mile to walk us to a nearby restaurant very late at night and also recommended a few places to visit. This is the best host I have ever met.

The host is a very welcoming and warm person. He does really everything to make the stay of his guests as much enjoyable as possible. Mariusz gave us great information about local restaurants and attractions. Everything was perfect and we enjoyed staying there.

We spent 2 nights at KP Claudia and ate two delicious breakfasts. We will remember most fondly the contact and conversations with the lovely owner. E-mail and text message communication began even before our arrival and promised a very high and professional level of service. For sure, if we go to Wieliczka or Krakow again, we will make reservations here.

“Pleasant, peaceful, comfortable and good value for money”

Breakfast was excellent with flexibility. The host was very responsive to our needs. The room was spacious and quiet. It was convenient for salt mine as well as shops and restaurants as well as a convenient fast train to Krakow.

Very nice apartment with lots of small detials (unique city map by recommendations of the landlord, carven apartment logo on wooden serving board, colors, good materials...) The landlord is very communicative and helpful, he tries to help on any aspects about your trip. He sends lots of information and links about parking, best route to the salt mine, recommended restaurants right after booking.

“I really enjoyed my stay at the inn where the service and everything else were of the highest standard”

This hotel is one of the finest I've ever stayed at. We were greeted warmly, shown around, and even given the option to choose our room. The rooms boast impeccable cleanliness, offering laundry facilities, and the breakfast is unbelievably tasty and hearty. Everywhere in the hotel is clean and tidy, and there is the option to park your car in a secure area. We will definitely return to this hotel and will recommend it as one of the best accommodations near Krakow.

Our stay was great in KP Claudia. Very well equipped, beautiful apartment in the heart of this small town. Safe parking for your car. Mariusz has amaizing hospitality. Very comfortable dining room, you can find everything you need. Wide selection of food on the plate we got from Mariusz for breakfast. His recommendations for the salt mine, for the travel to Krakow were very helpful. Warmly recommended for your stay!
