The secluded location within a small housing area. Location near private boat moorings which was nice to look at. Bread, fruit, eggs and a meat platter for breakfast plus a dishwasher so no need to wash pots after eating.

The property was excellent. The accommodation was one room in a self contained unit in the grounds of owners house. It contained a double bed and kitchen area. We were provided with food in the fridge which could be use for breakfast. It was an half an hour walk into the town where you could have something to eat or drink. Really like a housing estate but very pleasant.

Everything falls together. Yvonne is an excellent host. She loves the accommodation and it shows. She built it with her own hands. She takes care of every detail. And the location is perfect with a porch adjacent to the garden. In one word A+.

On The Point is as near to perfect as you can get. A wonderful setting in a verdant garden with the inlet from the ocean just steps away at the end of the drive. The room is spacious, beautifully arranged and Yvonne had left the fridge and fruit bowl amply supplied for breakfasts during our stay. Whitianga is also a real pearl- lots to do including snorkelling trips and exploring places along the coast.

Yvonne the host welcomed us & gave us great tips about activities which was very enjoyable. She stocked the beautiful bungalow with fresh fruit, juice , eggs, bread etc. Very special.

Beautiful location, the gardens were amazing as were our hosts with lots of recommendations and information about the area . The studio was very well equipped with full kitchen and everything needed for breakfast was provided plus a really comfy bed.

The owner met us when we arrived and we had a lovely chat. The property is beautiful and so peaceful, set in the owner's beautifully created garden. We walked to the centre of Whitianga in about 30 minutes. Tea, coffee and breakfast was provided in the room. I would definitely stay there again.
