“Were very happy with our stay. The above was a concern though. The owners were very hospitable peop”

The owners are aware that the motel is old and requires updating. However our only real concern was that there is a 9-12 inch step into the shower and that there are no handles to help getting in or out. Once in the shower there was nothing to hang onto at all. The soap dish was rather primitive and past its use by date. There should be no reason at all why a couple of handles could not be installed at a very low cost. Both were in their eighties with one at 88. Shower safety is very important at these ages and cannot be compromised.

Bit dated but exceptionally clean and nice and comfy. Had a fantastic time, walked everywhere once had arrived. Friendly owner very nice. We are already organising our next girls weekend away and are definitely staying there again next time

The location was excellent, the unit was perfect, couldn't be faulted. And for a small charge a nice, cooked breakfast supplied.

Great location.Super friendly staff at check-in Walk to shops just outside. Spotlessly clean throughout. Even though it is an older style motel, it has been very well maintained and is most comfortable in every aspect.

Classic nz motel. Friendly owners, we were greeted warmly on arrival, and lovely to chat with during the stay. Family friendly with great fun at the pool area. Comfortable units that were perfect to relax in after a busy day outside.

Position, very clean, owner very helpful. Double bed very comfortable. Spacious 2 bedroom unit, park right beside unit. Classic Kiwi motel, a little dated in decor, kitchen and bathroom fittings but it seems owners are aware and making steps. Wi-Fi effective, tv with full Sky very good if a little tricky to use initially I
