“Fantastic quiet cottage”

It is a great cottage just a short distance to the sea but tucked away in the hills. We loved the quiet, you could listen to the stream out on the decking and hear the birds sing. You could just stay there relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility, forgetting the outside world completely but if you do manage to drag yourself away, Cooks beach area offers plenty of short walks, a ferry across to Whitianga and some beautiful beaches.

Everything loved the little cabin was awesome would be a perfect place for a romantic weekend . Loved the solitude, not to mention the running creek and the sheep 🥰🥰😊 perfect

Beautiful quiet location close to cooks beach and all that goes with it. Lovely rural outlook. Cute cottage and good communication with host. Very reasonably priced.

Amazing location

“Serene and peaceful and full of amazing views.”

A serene and peaceful location in a small town. The small town had some wonderful restaurants and shops but we were also only a 3-minute ferry ride from Whitianga. That saved us a 40 minute drive and we also got to experience Whitianga. Use of the bbq was fabulous and allowed us to save money on meals.

This place exceeded my expectations and was just the perfect spot for our little getaway. It has everything you need. It was so cosy and peaceful. We will definitely be back and I will recommend this wonderful spot with my friends/family. Added bonus - the DVD player and range of DVDs was a cool nostalgic hit!!

Fantastic location with wild birds, fruit trees and a stream running down the hill. Cook's Beach and the environment were idyllic. Great to have a deck and table outside to sit at.

Lovely place, lovely hosts!

The Kanuka Cottage is a perfect accomodation!

Loved how cozy and clean the cottage was. If your looking for a getaway out of the city thats relaxing and peaceful than I highly recommend this place. Host left a nice welcome note for us as well as some avocados that we enjoyed. They also had a folder with information which was very helpful. Thank you again for the beautiful stay.
