“Convenient but needs some love”
Not sure what Oglebay looked like before the renovations, but the front lobby and new Sarita's was very nice, modern, and comfortable. The Wilson Lodge was conveniently located from the Good Zoo, our primary reason for coming to Oglebay. The rooms were well stocked with fluffy towels and extra blankets!!

“Worth exploring further”
Definitely the location and the activities that one can do, for all ages. The staff were kind and attentive. The environment was peaceful Gym was clean and the view from it is great.

“Still grand estate and impressive but a throwback of style”
The Oglebay Estate is still magnificent and the public areas and restaurants quite grand (in a National Park Lodge way)

Woke up at 2:00 am with extremely cold room (#312 ). Heater not working properly. Thermostat settings increased to 78F with no response! No extra blankets in room. Had to sleep in thick fleece jogging outfit and socks !!!

“My stay was everything I wanted for a last minute decision for a trip”
I really enjoyed the location and are considering coming back during the summer. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room was comfortable and in a good location.

I gave all the best ratings, but it’s accurate. The resort really did exceed my expectations and my family loved it too. I can’t wait to come back and golf (we did not golf this time) We plan to make Oglebay a regular destination for us.

“Stunning location”
Fantastic location for the Saint Bernard National - a week of canine activities. Room was very comfortable and all the staff I met were very helpful and friendly. Food was excellent. The grounds are superb and so well maintained and the ganging baskets were stunning
