“Very pleasant, clean and friendly staff. We liked the offer of bottled water on checkout”
Breckfast was good, great variety of foods, the staff were prompt to get us seated and were very friendly. Food arrived hot and tasted very good. The tea was so good. Liked the touch of biscuit with the tea.

The room was quite spacious and quiet, the beds just the right size. It was clear that in the past, this had been a grand hotel, now slightly past its prime. Breakfast was excellent, with a wonderful view of the river and Waterford on the opposite bank. Dinner, however, was nothing special. Nearby, there are beautiful beaches and forest walks.
