Beautiful location in well maintained grounds. Liked everything there. Well equipped. Easy to find from rosslare. Central location for tourist attractions and beaches.

Everything. Martin and caitlyn were perfect hosts. Never slept in a more comfortable bed. Short distance to great tourist spots. Didn't want to leave!!

“Absolute perfection”

A warm welcome to a beautiful cottage. The hosts have ensured that everything you need is available. We were able to really do a solid cook: oil, salt and pepper, spices - everything was there. They had left some juice, yoghurt and jam in the refrigerator for us. The bed was comfortable with crisp linen. The cottage was warm and cosy and was a perfect base for our explorations (we had a car). Absolutely no hesitation in recommending this stay to future travellers.

Rathjarney Gatelodge is beautiful, compact but extremely well fitted with everything you could possibly desire for a cosy break. The fridge even had milk, orange juice, butter and marmalade in it when we arrived. The kitchen also provided ground & instant coffee as well as tea bags. We arrived mid evening and let ourselves in using the clear instructions sent by our hosts. Shortly after we were in, Martin was there to welcome us and explain the heating and hot water controls. We were very comfortable throughout our stay and the outside gardens were so pretty and made even more charming by the three resident hens who rushed over to greet us every time we returned to the gatelodge. Katelyn even brought us half a dozen of their freshly laid eggs during our stay! The location of the gatelodge makes it a good base for exploring the South East of Ireland with plenty of days out available from Castles and lighthouses to Heritage Ireland's gardens and houses. We fell in love with Ireland during our short stay and will be returning soon. Very Highly recommended! 🥰

The lodge is in a peaceful and lovely location. It is accessible to the N25 with Wexford Town being within easy reach. The lodge is private, quiet, peaceful, and well equipped. Katelyn was very accommodating in letting us check in early which we appreciated. She and Martin provided tea, coffee, milk, orange juice, jam & cream, as well as an array of various spices. There is a booster for the radiator and a gas fire with blower that heated up the living space very quickly.

“A really charming place to have a restful time in attractive location just outside Wexford”

The property was a delightful place for a short stay. An attractive building which has been extremely well converted to make it an ideal 1 bedroom dwelling. A very nice kitchen and sitting area as well as an extremely comfortable bedroom. Our hosts very thoughtfully provided many things that made our first night very easy including butter, milk, juice and fresh laid eggs.

Everything - a beautiful little cottage with a lot of charm in gorgeous grounds in a great location. It was warm and very comfortable and very well stocked - everything had been thought of and provided. Hosts were helpful, friendly, warm and charming, and very good company. We loved it! Thank you to a delightful family for a delightful stay.

It was everything we like when we are looking for somewhere to stay, set in a rural location, peaceful and totally relaxing. The house was amazing and our hosts went above and beyond what you would expect to make our stay a memorable one.

This beautiful property is set in the owners immaculate grounds. The property is surprisingly spacious and well laid out. Comfortable, clean and well equipped this was the nicest single bedroom property we’ve stayed in. The property is ideally situated to explore south east Ireland and 30 minutes from Rosslare ferry port. The owner was friendly and generous with little extras to make our stay special.

“Gorgeous little cottage in a garden 15 minutes from Wexford.”

We loved the historic charm of this comfortable little cottage in the grounds of a larger residence. Our hosts were friendly and generous - we very much appreciated the fresh eggs, yogurt and jam and the fully equipped kitchen. Quiet and peaceful, just 15 minutes from Wexford and (in the other direction) Kilmore Quay and the ferry to Greater Saltee Island. We’d love to stay again!

Beautiful lodge located in a lovely rural setting. Amazing space! The lodge is very cosy with a comfortable bed and a well equipped kitchen. Lovely. place to relax and chill. The extra treats left in the kitchen were a bonus. The hosts, Katelyn and Martin are extremely helpful and kind, ready to support guests at all times! We really enjoyed our three night December break in Piercetown. Thanks again, we hope to return! Property response:
