“Serene Meadow View”

The location was serene and beautiful. In the morning you'd only hear distant mooing from the cows and the wood pigeons cooing. The hot tub was divine although it took overnite to heat up. The house is very spacious and would be perfect also for a family with small children as there is a play area and a trampoline. The beds and bathrooms were comfortable. Kitchen worked well. The garden was lovely. You're within 15 to 20 min drive from one of the best Nature Reserves, the Raven Point and its miles long sandy beach.

Tranquility at it's finest. The location is perfect if you want to get away from the daily routine of life. The house is amazing, open and bright. The garden I could have sat out in for hours, it was just perfect. The hot tub was an excellent touch, perfect for the evening time to relax in. The rooms and facilities were excellent. 100% we will be back. The village Blackwater which was less than a 5 minute drive from the house is quaint and picturesque. We ate from The village chipper, delicious food and friendly staff. We brought our 2 dogs and they enjoyed sniffing around the grounds of the house.

The property was very spacious and clean both inside and out. The host was very accommodating, helpful and quick to respond to any questions/queries. Having a hot tub was a great bonus. Looking forward to doing it again next year.

“Family friendly , loads to entertain everyone”

I loved that it was so family-friendly. It rained one of the days, and the children enjoyed playing with all the toys in the play room. There is much to entertain young children. Huge trampoline, swing, windy house, etc.. The hot tub was such a treat when we put the toddlers down. There is a huge amount of space in the house, and the bath upstairs is also fabulous. Always hot water which was great. House was clean and cosy and lovely feel to it. So much amenities close via car. Village only 5 min drive with a huge spar that has everything. Farms and play centres close by. We didn't get the weather for the beach but to be honest it didn't matter my 2 year old kept asking to go back to the house when we were out as they loved the space so much. I will be back definitely.

“A bit rough around the edges”

A hot tub was listed on the amenities but was an inflatable which was out of order leaking and deflating so not as advertised. I probably wouldn't have chosen this property if it wasn't for the hot tub advertised. Would benefit from new bed linens and some freshening up.

This was a very cosy and spacious house. There was a nice convenient self check in option and the house was immaculately clean. Good communication with the owner.. There was just the two of us and so much space it looks really well suited for a family and a nice short drive to the beach. The sitting room area is nice and comfortable with a large television and L couch. Would happily return.

lovely spacious house with lots of indoor and outdoor toys and areas for the kids. also a great outdoor jacuzzi . 13 min drive to the nearest Ballinaclash beach which is a great beach! we had a great time with the kids! hosts were a text message away and facilitated with all requests. thank you

Outdoor area is good if you have children, house is big and spacious.

The house was spacious and tidy... plenty of room for myself and 4 children...the kids had a great time in the hot tub ...Bob was a great man to deal with and I look forward to staying here again.... perfect for a larger family who might need to book 2 rooms in a hotel ... thanks for everything Bob
